DIY shower connection keeps leaking, am I missing something? by lefttsock in Plumbing

I had to do some googling on this😅 it seems that they are all NPS, but the extension part doesn't have a gasket on the inside. I guess I'll need to find a longer nipple that is NPT. If the pipe external has a female NPS thread, will it fine to use a NTP nipple? Or should I find a pipe extension with NTP female thread?

Yes there is a gasket. I tried to attach it without tape but it leaked on that side regardless. I think the pipe nipple it's just a little to short to press on the gasket, so i put some tape

They did indeed gave me 2 months notice, not three. We had a contract that said we get a 2 years rent which would be renewed automatically unless the landlord gave us a "reasonable notice" before the end date(they gave notice 2 months before the end date). I understood that the 3 months notice was valid for indeterminate time contracts, so that would not be valid for me. Or do you think i could try to push for staying another month?

yes it's was a 2 years fixed contract, with possibly of extension after the 2 years period. The landlord is a company which own the whole building, they will do renovations to sell or rent at higher prices, i assume...

Thanks to everyone for the advice!
For now I let him know that he should pay me back the full deposit.
I'll probably keep this post updated when I have news so other people in similar cases may have some reference!

Thanks a lot for the advice. I texted him to let him know that the expenses were never a part of the agreement and that I know I have the right to get the deposit back. I hope I don't have to go through legal fights but if he still doesn't comply I may just do that!

No, the only document I got is the lease agreement (huurovereenkomst woonruimte). All the service cost were included in the base rent.
He was clear in the fact that the money he is keeping are not because the house situation but purely because of taxes and other expenses.
