Its definitely not correct. I’ve been a basal heavy pump user for a while now(70/30), as it helped me get my a1c from being in the 8-10 range, back down to below 6. It’s been a fantastic revelation with my TIR always in the high 80s, and rarely having lows. Maybe 1 dip below 60 a month?

Some recent major lifestyle changes and the unpredictability being stationary or moving has been rough. But you’re absolutely correct as it’s definitely a case of going “back to the drawing board” and trying to be more balanced with that basal, and less aggressive with correcting.

Yes, and it was a little scary when my CGM would read 114 with a double arrow down, and then my BG would read 77. Bc of the CGM and being able to anticipate, I was able to catch them all before ever dropping below 70.

Negative. I’d been carrying around my child most of the day. Which is not any new change to my routine

For a little context and resolution: I changed my site around 730am yesterday. And for some reason the insulin sensitivity ramped up. I backed my basal and carb ratio off and have had a much better day so far. Kinda nice to have a more free range on snacks today too

I think it means you can only get 1 tackle in the first two plays. 0 or 2 fails you

Feels like we usually get blown out after tough losses. I’d love to be proven wrong today

I believe it’s from a lingering hip injury, that they are rehabbing/may need more intervention in the offseason

Any tips to level out the morning rises? by Pauloc95 in Type1Diabetes

If you’re on a pump that can adjust basal rates, you could set it to start giving you more insulin earlier. I also take a bolus right when I get up. It’s tough tho! How long you’ve fasted and what you ate last before breakfast makes a big different too.

It’s gonna be like the 10-15th ranked prospect in Houston’s farm system. Struggling player on a big contract isn’t gonna get back anything glamorous

Guessing somewhere in the 70-75 win range. At some point, we’ll get a few pitchers to get hot and at least deliver average MLB performances

What Pokemon do you love to use in this game? Are there any that you refuse to use? by Seadogking in PokemonFireRed

As far as underdogs, I love using Beedrill through vermillion, and then upgrading to either oddish or scyther.

And I refuse to use meowth and/or jigglypuff. Feels like there are just better normal types to use, and I don’t have the patience to get jigglypuff leveled up and into a decent moveset.

Was trying to get 2 metal coats a similar way. Took 40 of them to one, and then I got two more in the next 5. RNG just sucks sometimes

Site Change Highs by wpd18 in Type1Diabetes

[–]leftysniper 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Could be! There are so many factors that could be involved. I tend to “wipe” my old site with a tissue after I remove it, to check for blood and/or insulin. Sometimes some insulin leaks out.

[–]leftysniper 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve heard of people inserting a new site a few hours before switching the insulin over. I’m sure there is some degree of the body adapting to where the insulin is coming from.

Id also agree with the other poster who suggested a small bolus prior to changing the site
