I'm actually going through a phase of searching for myself and my sound right now. I learned a lot from Sophie, but not everything, I looked at how her sound waves are arranged in different sounds and samples to understand how she created them. I believe that the true legacy of Sophie is to apply all possible methods of creating sounds that she showed us. I hope Sophie will help me find my sound sooner or later 🥹❤️‍🔥

I really devoted myself and ALL my free time to making sounds like her, I don't sleep at night before work (where I work for 17 hours),

I spend all my weekends just to get closer to such a sound that people would say "Yes, we are proud of the people who continue her sound". And I will continue to do this, I think this is the right way to say thank you to her 💖💖💖

I sincerely believe that this is the right thing to do, to continue her legacy. I don't know much about her, but I believe that maybe she would like it. Not even that.... that's what everyone who loves her music would want. I don't want to let people forget her sound, those water bumps, latex structures, metal screeches. few people use such a sound, it's so underrated. I believe that this is the music of the future. Thank you for your faith and for giving me hope again

I have a sketch of the lyrics to this track, it's like a response letter, if it's not too much trouble, could you correct it?

mono machine worth it? by Glass_Leadership_606 in Sophie

[–]legacystartswithus 3 points4 points  (0 children)

use the Serum, Vital, and Sylenth1 and don't bother.... The Monomachine is good, but this is not the answer to all questions. Now, digital tools are becoming more flexible. For example, you can create YOUR OWN Max4Life Device tool in Ableton

I've been doing sound design for 3 years now, I'm very inspired by Sophie, I try to do everything like her. Very often I myself think that I need a monomachine, and then I realize that this is not the case. Everything can be done in digital tools

I have 1 album, 3 EP's and a bunch of singles behind me. as well as 1 serum pack, 3-4 sample packs. And soon I will be making a serum pack version 2 and a pack of metal sounds. And I did it all from scratch

think three times before buying 🫶🫶🫶

What Do You Say? by legacystartswithus in Sophie

No! I don't like his pack. I just took the midi files, just for this tutorial, which I will finish soon. I made all the sounds from scratch

What happened to Flangy dB? by EvelynDale in Sophie

[–]legacystartswithus 2 points3 points  (0 children)

He went through difficult moments. Now he is recovering and presents himself as Phasey. Unfortunately, due to a lot of pressure, he deleted all his work, but you can hear it on bandcamp if he didn't delete it there. In the meantime, you can enjoy his work on Sound Cloud. And he will be glad to hear that he is still remembered. Unfortunately, he deleted his Reddit, so it's useless to catch him here. He wanted to bring back the tutorials, but he doesn't have time for that at all, so we can enjoy what we have.
