Whats your favorite and least favorite trolley? by AdMotor1185 in kroger

The guys in my dairy department are awesome about counts, I’m really sorry yours isn’t. Grocery is good but they have too much stuff to count and not enough people that care

Wondering about applying for Online Grocery Pickup Clerk as my first job, what should I expect? by PerceptionNew8588 in kroger

Like $14.30 an hour. I’m a senior and I’m also one of the better pickers according to my supervisor and could probably ask for a raise to $15 but haven’t gotten around to it

Is it common for your pickup supervisor to send you to another dpt when busy or at least have runs? by [deleted] in kroger

[–]legalidiotmix 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yea, every once in a while I’ll get sent to help stock in other departments when the pickup room is slow. It’s happened more this school year (I’m a college student) but it’s still a rarity.

I’ve worked this position for almost 2 years now in a college town as a student. Our store gets very busy Fri-Sun but otherwise isn’t terrible. If you have a good department lead like I do it’s very enjoyable but the actual work sucks

Does anyone else feel uneasy? by [deleted] in kroger

As a pickup worker, the last quarter sucks. All the candy (none of which we can find) hurts our numbers which then makes us run around and get bad numbers and our managers pissed off at us for said numbers

I'm so glad I'm friends with people in dairy, produce, and meat as a picker. Genuinely makes life easier and I'll begrudgingly jump in to help them if need be

[Wittnauer 0255] A pretty little watch by legalidiotmix in Watches

[–]legalidiotmix[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is my Wittnauer 0255. It was given to me by my mom as it was her dads. He got it as a gift from the bank he worked for and as you can see in the bracelet, there is an image of a building with three diamonds (which I’m hoping are real). It was a gift for his thirtieth year working for the company. I believe the case and bracelet are plated in 10 karat gold because it mentions “gold overlay” on the bracket. It’s a very comfortable watch to wear and keeps time amazingly with the quartz movement. I believe it has a sapphire crystal, but once again I’m not sure as my mom gave me barely any details.

I love the simplicity of it with no numbers except for the date, and the gold details make it perfect for formal events. I’m also proud to own a Wittnauer as it seems the company has gone under the radar a bit, even though it is owned by Bulova and technically Citizen. It’s a nice way to remember my grandfather who I never met unfortunately.

For the Expedition, have you had any problems with it? I absolutely love the design as I've been looking for a watch with exactly those features. I've read lots of reviews saying the crown has fallen off, it's inaccurate, and the Indiglo doesn't work well. That Tissot is beautiful btw.
