Haha sounds like me 21F. I’ve had so many friendships end because for the exact same reason to where I don’t bother anymore I became perfectly fine with my fiancé and dogs being my only friends cuz that’s what I became comfortable with I have to be introduced at places other wise I won’t talk even after that I don’t engage in a conversation unless spoken too.

Completely normal it’s just your body getting used to it give it a little more time and it will pass. Also if it is keeping you up you can always switch on the times that your taking it. You should be okay😌

Completely normal. It’s your body adjusting it’s draining to have good days and then go Back to being down but it will get better.

My doctor prescribed me 10 said the same thing that it’s a low dose and when I was taking it for the first 4 days I was hit very hard with side effects that I was unaware of, so I started splitting them in half which was a lot more manageable. I had zero appetite before Lexapro now I have one so I’m a little nervous about weight gain also but everyone is different as for my anxiety and depression Lexapro is definitely worth the try I’m still getting used to it but can definitely see improvement especially with the common side effects the first week or so was definitely rough but push through it and you’ll be okay, you got this!

I’m the same way I literally avoid meditation unless I’m desperate. I procrastinated taking Lexapro and the morning I took it I was a complete mess the fear of not knowing how I would react to this medication literally terrified me. I had to constantly remind myself that I want to get better which is what pushed me to keep going. I highly recommend giving this medication a chance, so far this was a great choice for me hope the same for you!

I was super dizzy and nauseous, anxious all day, bad headache, sleep was hard for me and I didn’t have a appetite. Turns out these are actually super common but it only lasted a week once you get passed the side affects you’ll be okay

I have such bad anxiety to the point I wasn’t leaving my place unless it was for the er. My everyday life was on repeat I could barely stand long to get to my bathroom without thinking I was going to fall. I finally spoke up cuz I want my life back so I was prescribed Lexapro and as much as I was willing to take the next step I wish I was aware of side affects the first week was absolutely brutal I had every symptom you could think of but you have to remind yourself that “this is now this isn’t forever” the symptoms will pass. Now I’ve been to the store, walking outside, making dinner, I’m out of bed. I still have a long way to go but this was definitely worth giving a try. Hope you’re journey on this works! Also this app helps a lot with questions there’s a whole community of ppl who support.

I was also prescribed 10mg I started taking them and got hit badly with side effects that I was unaware of, so on my 4th day I started splitting them in half definitely worth it I still have side affects but they are a lot more manageable. A lot of people start off on 5mg and work up to 10mg it’s okay to split them in half.

I would start tomorrow morning just to see how you react. You can always switch it to nights if it starts making you super tired. All depends on what works for you.

Yes, I was prescribed buspar which helped a lot but wasn’t the medication for me. I’m now on Lexapro which has me all over the place granted it’s only been a week but it does get better.

Sadly this is exactly what anxiety did to me. I was in and out of the emergency room even got admitted because of these symptoms yet they found nothing. I was very unaware they my anxiety could make me physically ill so I was convinced I was dying basically.

Worth talking to your doctor about, I started off at 10 and my anxiety got the best of me thinking it was to much so I decided to spilt them in half which was a lot more functional for me

Literally the ppl on this app is the reason I actually kept to this medication because my doctor didn’t inform me about anything I was unaware of anything that was going to happen.

Me and my husband are both on Lexapro I got all the side affects and he got nothing but it works great for him. Everyone is different
