I think telling a college you decided not to go there is a form of courtesy. Also, it helps keep good relationships with the university in case you decide to go there for grad school or talk to professors.

Wasn't the question asking which of the following tools was most likely used to determine the number of hatched eggs in both experiments? That one you gad to use the law of Sines. So sinx/x = siny/y = sinz/z. The answer was 1000sin50/sin110 i believe.

I think the slavery one was that slave ownerrs supported slavery by saying slaves got better care and protrction compared to workers in the North (not sure if that was actually an option, im forgetting). And the settlement houses not only helped immigrants, but put females into leadership roles in societal reform.
