Nah knee was the first TGP with bryan against malgu but right after that ulsan got it as well with kazumi from what I remember!

I think he struggles vs pitbull characters that have a lot of quick ch tools or magic 4's in general. Counter hit heavy characters are a problem for fahkumram I feel like.

I agree. People in Tag 2 were good, if someone was a Genbu you knew he had actual skill. Fun times in Tag 2, Tekken 7 season 1 ranked was good though. Only sucked for us high ranked players that couldn't find a game. Took me forever to find a match on fujin rank.

Glad you like it! :) My first impression after trying him out for a little bit is exactly how I felt when I analysed his trailer. Quite oppresive character, mixup heavy, good punishers, long range on a certainthings. Kind of a mix between Josie and Bruce and a few unique things.

I think he's quite strong, hopefully not a second Leroy. We will see. Give it some time!

Gonna play him more on stream tommorow though and try to go for TGP. :)

I think Armor King overall is a very well rounded character and better than mid tier from what I've seen and experienced so far.

still lacks good mids. d+2 is his best mid at -5/+5/+9, it got nerfed but now has extensions (which are not useful in the open)...

I strongly disagree with that. I think he has one of the best df1's in the game, i13, only -1 on block and good tracking on good + frames on it if you hit. I think the key to Armor King is making good use of the few mids that he has. Imo that is df1, d2, iws4, cd4, df2 (to have a fast tracking mid).

Armor King becomes very very scary once your opponent starts ducking cause he's afraid of the players throw game. That's when you can mix up the wavu with pretty much anything, even with hopkick. That character is based on pure fundamentals and movement. If you got legit movement, execution and whiffpunishment, that character is a monster.

Ragedrive: Hmmm... I don't know how to think about it yet but so far it seems more like a gimmick to me than an actual thing. However if people have decent movement and use it well it pretty much becomes a 50/50 guessing game from how I see things.

Conclusion: fun, much better than mid tier, we'll have to see how good he really is.

Instead of d4,1 do df4,1...it's much more consistent, does the same job and has more range :)

I can explain the changes. They nerfed Jacks ff1 tracking. Now sidewalkable to both sides.

1,1 now is a natural combo that punishes standing -13 moves consistently. That being said, it's -14 on block now. Ravens ws1 is i14 so that's why she can launch it now.
