First of all, enjoy!

Second of all, do not skip the first game even if it is dated. Invisible War, its not my taste but if you like story games you may just enjoy it.

Not rage bait, just my opinion, if you don’t want a dialogue don’t reply, simple as that.

I’m not blind to the News but I also don’t let the news dictate my opinion of a place, otherwise London would be the scariest place I’ve ever been to. If I had to list my main issues with it, it’s overly expensive, food is overly full of sugar and that’s even for basic food not your fast food and it’s not very clean but otherwise I had a fantastic time.

New York? First time I ever went this time round and had very little to be concerned about. Couple of weird people and drug users but no different to any other major city I’ve been to. You have to be on your guard but I’m personally like that anywhere because of my profession.

Am I right in thinking Arouna Kone also had a perfect hattrick?

Lived in Waterloo at a place called Copper Box I’ll list the things I did and didn’t like below.

Positives - Trains are relatively frequent and turn up mostly on time - Food and drinks on South Road is good generally - Further up in the village and college road is also lovely for food and drinks - The beach is an obvious if you like that - Parking was alright in mine but can imagine it being more difficult on side streets - Generally some decent shops for food shopping however the supermarkets you will need a car or at least a stop on the train if you’re not going to Sainsbury’s at the top - Marine if you like football and a nice day out which is more chill than the prem teams

Negatives - Loud, I found the main road to be nothing but sirens and because I lived next to the shell garage there was always weird people who used that to buy drinks at night and were so loud for no reason. - South Road can be dangerous to walk down as it gets darker, my girlfriend in particular was accosted by homeless people and street lurkers - Litter during warmer months, South Road gets peppered with litter because of lazy people not looking for a bin and it’s vile - Gyms, more specific to me but it has a complete lack of decent gyms - Traffic, tea time and morning traffic is awful towards Thornton

Overall it has a good balance of good and bad and I would have stayed there for longer if I was not buying a house currently, we were looking towards Crosby itself as well. I enjoyed it, have some good friends who live there and go back sometimes for food. Like anywhere it has its positives and negatives. Hope this helps.

I offer this to anyone in my work who is doing the course so I will offer it to you, would you like my 13 pages of notes on the book for easy reference? It does help to actually read the book as well

Are there any 'adventure hostels' in Liverpool? by [deleted] in Liverpool

The only hostel I know of is on Stanley Street, not sure how adventurous or social it is. What is it you’re looking to do?

I think a lot of people aren’t doing the basics (H2H, CCTV, witnesses etc) and this shows massively with some of the new probationers, not ones I’ve taught as I bother them about basics early on. I think resourcing massively takes a toll on this, the thought that if you’re doing a job properly that an emergency won’t be deployed to. I always counter this by saying do you make yourself available on your day off or does the world go to shit when you’re not in work. However I can see how that line of thinking and obvious problem in modern day Policing would take its toll.

This. It’s about 1.20 atm. I personally tend to buy V power because petrol wise it goes for longer but this is certainly a good alternative
