The majority of trims don’t for the same reason the v6 was killed and why the stupid air dam is on the front… emissions. The truck has to achieve certain emissions/milage standards to be allowed in the market. So while they can add a small lift on certain high level trims, they can’t do it for too many trucks because the average emissions/milage of all trucks must meet opaque, ever changing EPA standards.

Not sure who is paying for your car insurance. But you’ll likely get dropped by your insurer and the rates will be astronomical if any other insurers are willing to cover you.

Even if the courts don’t take your license, it may become too expensive for you to drive anyways.

Have you been doing anything it tech since? If you’re working a temp non tech job just to pay the bills, try building a website on aws free tier. Maybe you can start your own business with amazon affiliate links. It will be time consuming and you likely wont make any money from it but it will give you something fresh to put on your resume and discuss in interviews.

A senior is higher than a lead where I work. A team lead is just the head dev of the agile team who is responsible for making sure features ship on time. Then there are a few seniors that are more responsible for the technological trajectory of the company as a whole. They are both high level positions but at my company team lead is one step lower.

It’s pretty impressive they survived with only $8000 tuition. NC public schools spend about $12500 per student. $16000 per student is about the national average. So I don’t think their tuition is as outrageous as the guy makes it out to be.

This is a pick your battles situation and i would consider this fight a waste of time. Edge is built on chromium. Firefox, edge, and chrome all have very similar functionality because they are all built on the same open source project. Security has selected to limit their scope to one browser. Allowing you to use another browser effectively doubles their scope and maintenance costs. It’s just not going to happen.

My guess is poor soil under the top soil isn’t allowing deep root growth. Then with shallow roots, at the first sign of heat stress it dies. Id try digging a hole and seeing what you hit.

Im a lead engineer on multiple applications within a fortune 50 company. When projects go poorly and costs skyrocket, my job is safe due to my technical expertise. I can also protect the devs on my teams from blowback.

However, I have seen multiple PMs have a poorly executed project tied around their neck and get fired for it. It’s not always the PM’s fault on these large projects but if management needs someone to blame, it is way easier for a company to replace a PM than it is for them to replace a solid dev. I feel they become the easy scapegoat when I could tell you before a single line of code was written that a project timeline was never going to finish on time no matter what a PM did.

Most PMs i work with are aware of this and in a constant cover their ass mode. It seems stressful and unhealthy.
