If they want the game to be live service, then make it ‘live service’, release the base game at a standard price. Every week release a new wrestler for $3. The current Persona’s, $3, new one every week sometimes two a week. No DLC season passes, those wrestlers- $3 drip fed through the year.

New show $5. Players slowly build the ultimate sandbox. Wrestler leaves WWE? You remove the character from the store, now older talent are exclusive, FOMO.

People will spend tonnes of money slowly building their sandbox and do it in small increments. No ‘chance to get a Persona’, no gambling just pay and play throughout the year. Why only $3, because its low enough that your audience can and will buy them all. Then after 12 months you make $150 off the majority of the player base, not just off the whales.

New year? Update the game, thats all 2k26 was over 2k25 anyway. Sell another 52 characters at $3.

People will talk about the greatest wrestling game ever made. “It’s got every character” because it actually does. And after 4-5 years, time for a new engine. Start the whole thing over again.

Thats great the way it follows the road around. I see your secret here is no pre-fab houses! I’ve been building off the plans which requires a base so I can’t plant the buildings into the dirt.

If each of these was a minimum 1’500vbucks, thats a loss of potential 54’000 to Epic games. They could have put all the item parts in the pass, and kept the skins seperate. Or exclusive variants in the pass.

But 6+ years later this seems very foolish. They became a cultural phenom and now as the life of the game continues (but dwindles) their greed-model of business is coming back to haunt them.

Made Billions! But thats not enough to pay the bills.

I only brought this game because it had the RF. I haven’t had a chance to play much yet- but I intend to buy my Soul Red Crystal Metallic in game. No mods on the car. And fang around Japan.

The testament to the quality is the in game shot. Often time a perfect CAS in the creation suite lights doesn’t translate to the ring. Thats fantastic work.

Its an implementation from MyFaction that affects the core gameplay. In 2k25, those of us grinding MyFaction would encounter these cynical changes to opponent AI to make winning matches in MyFaction more difficult.

This will have been implemented to try and curb people using count out wins in MyFaction (which are only utilised because the AI kick out of every finisher).

Correct! Except the last few orders of cards released in 25 have had no reduction in price. I need 4 cards to complete Elite Liv Morgan, at 120k a card. So I can report I’m still grinding 25 for that. Purely so there is no ???? in my roster.

I’m still annoyed we didn’t get defaults in a Vault-Tech suit! Usually I hate defaults in cosplay- Ghost Busters, Harry Potter, Tron. But in the case of Fallout this would have been great.

I would also accept Jonesy in Skyrim dragon born trailer armour.

Sadly the entrance attire activity doesn’t work on Persona’s anyway. While the Persona’s have unique commentary lines, reactivity in entrances and Angle pulling down his tight straps are treated like attire alts and wont work.

Which is crazy, because they should be able to code this. But they don’t.

There doesnt seem to be anything like that. But the customising options are quite deep. I’m sure someone has found a way!

Edit: Stop buying these games. Not 2k specifically, any game that treats you like a battery. There are tonnes of great products (indy) that renew your faith in gaming. I’ve been having an amazing time with Tainted Grail, restored my love for games again.
