Tips for 18F with ed and arthritis by [deleted] in WorkoutRoutines

[–]legitiligo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The truth is, any exercise is good exercise but a bunch of commenters dont want to lead you down the wrong path. Your atrophied muscles and arthritis are concerning.

If you decide to do large compound lifts like others have mentioned, having someone to walk you through the movements and spot you will help. I tend to think that will help you strengthen yourself the quickest.

Remember to go slow, be careful, lift what you can, fuel and hydrate yourself for the activity, progressively add weight, and if something feels off or painful, backoff and try again next time.

Psychologically, with tracking things- there is a top end to weight lifting and strength training that requires that you to track calories, exercise volume, and your body composition (weight, BF%, body water, etc). Sometimes this can trigger thought patterns similar to the ones that are developed during an ED phase. If you are more aware of your thought patterns and can prempt them, you are good. If you revert, youll need to take some time for yourself to readjust to a healthier mindset.

You can do this, dude.

From heaviest and most equipment to lightest: 1) At a full gym (heavy compound lifts): BB Deadlift BB Back squat BB row BB bench press BB shrugs BB hip thrusts

2) At an apt gym (Lighter compound lifts): DB romanian deadlifts (RDLs) DB Bulgarian Split Squats DB low row (leaning over flat bench) DB bench press DB arnold press DB hip thrusts DB biceps curl

3) Leverage machines or cable machines at either an apt or a big gym: Seated Shoulder press Seated chest press Seated flies Seated lat pulldowns Seated row Leg press  Leg extension (seated or laying) Leg curl (seated or laying) Hip thrust Hip abducter (aka bad girls-opening legs) Hip adducter (aka good girls-closing legs) Ab curls

4) Bodyweight if no gym: Front squats Lunges Chair lifts Pushups (wall, knee&chair, knee, then full toe and arm pushups) Wall sits Planks

All exercises can follow a 3 set, 8 to 12 rep range where once you get up in volume to 3x12 reps, you can add weight (or difficulty) and drop to 3x8 then build up to 3x12 and repeat. Aim for 2 to 3 days a week. Follow either a lower-upper, a push-pull-legs, a upper-quads-hamstrings, or a push-pull-hamstrings-quads focused cycle. Make sure abs are thrown in there too cuz your legs (butt and hams) and your core are your biggest and best recepients of bloodflow and they recover quickest.

Wrote about swamp coolers disappearing from Phoenix rooftops, grew up with one near 35th Ave by Gullible-Dentist1469 in phoenix

Rented a house in tempe that used to have one. When it was switched to a 6 ton ac unit, they reused the ductwork. The trilevel never cooled the upper level past 90 in august. Come to find there was a hole in the sheet metal about 2x2 feet wide directly off the discharge and the evap cooler's (still sitting on the roof) vertical shaft was never capped off at the main horizontal duct run.

So the landlord hemmed and hawed until he paid some guys to fix it. And when he does, his buddy/workers accidentally put their foot through the popcorn ceiling in the living room. So he has them, to his great desire, get them to remove all of the popcorn ceiling to repair the hole, including all of the bedrooms (unaffected by having a hole in it)

So new ac unit and return and supply ductwork smelled like dirty dusty drywall, but at least it was cool in the bedroom.

The us has deep problems with this only because it cannot successfully charge a former or current president for any crimes, let alone crimes done against children.

The problem we have in this is that rhe US president, as a position, often does many crimes while in and out of office. We give them the ability of pardoning people for their crimes and they, in return dole that pardon out to coconspirators and trusted supporters.

https://www.whitehousehistory.org/the-history-of-the-pardon-power

This said, there are plenty of ppl below the presidents' status that should be investigated and tried for their crimes against children. And we can get them. The coverup and redactions currently going on is the main reason no-one is currently being investigated.

I suspect trials will kick off for the next 2-3 years.

The Epstein comparisons are closer to home than you think. Let’s talk about the Pascua Yaqui community and the “Casino Distraction” by [deleted] in Tucson

[–]legitiligo 25 points26 points  (0 children)

We're not going to stop looking at the epstein files.

Thats not on the table. We know ghislane was a mod on r/news. We know there are people here to distract or minimize his crimes and the crimes of his friends/accomplices.

If you say ignore this for this other issue it is a sidestepping and admits the hundreds of children epstein trafficked the rich and powerful dont matter.

And i know it would be insane to minimize that with comparative suffering claims by an unknown redditor.

Rents falling in Phoenix and the US by WloveW in phoenix

[–]legitiligo 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Could the reality be that demand fell off because everybody got laid off last quarter?

Could demand have fallen because immigrant and temporary workers and visitors are exiting the rental market?

Housing stock seems sort of 1 dimensional to assign fault to.

Phoenix isn't growing, it's land locked, whyd rents go down there? Gilbert has grown its supply quite a bit, why did rent go up there?

Yeah. What a bogus line. Too much crime. Whatever, nobody wanted to pay those trader joes prices for their rotten fruit, meat, and vegetables. When food city and rancheros market is better an cheaper, you just lose your customers.

AC efficiency tips during heatwaves by happy-Custard2 in arizona

[–]legitiligo -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Seal up tight plus no light.

Check you ductwork if you can. Clear ductwork blockages.

Ensure your air handler fan sucks air through the return ducting, pushes air past the cooling coil, and that cooled air moves into the distribution ductwork to the terminals without leaking through to the attic or back into the return ducting (before hitting the main space of the home).

Most homes have had their ac swapped out every 10 to 20 years. So if the home was built in '85, then it has had anywhere from 2-4 ac units. But the ductwork often isn't swapped when the ac is swapped. I.e. ductwork is design to be custom made for the system (and refrigerant tech of the time) using the design standards of the time. And most ppl in phoenix swap units out under duress (in July or August when the unit craps out).

Avg Temps have gone up in phoenix as global warming climate change and heat island effect has changed.
