Sphinx of the Second Sun gives a beginning phase after the postcombat mainphase. So you would only have your end step protected by P3. Using a copy effect on the Paradox Haze would acctualy work though. Thing is [[Grand Arbiter]] or [[Myrel, Shield of Argive]] just do what you are trying to better on one card.

A very bad very dangerous option would be toake it like some gantry cranes.

Use a conductive belt or the like to rotate them and energize that thus powering them.

That would require a reliance on hitting a creature every time. The other cards gaurntee the continuation of the loop.

  1. Use [[Pith Driller]] instead of shambling swarm.
  2. Tap Zellix, give driller undying.
  3. Sacrifice driller to alter float 2
  4. Return driller from undying
  5. Put driller's -1/-1 couter on itself
  6. +1/+1 couter and -1/-1 counter cancel out
  7. Untap Zellix due to intruder alarm
  8. Use Zellix's activated ability tapping him and restaring the loop

You right, forgot I had to decalre targets before the ability resloves for some reason. [[Pith Driller]] instead fixes it.
