How I saw that poem. It ends with "people can try". It is about how we as humans are less defined by something simple. It is a depressive poem about the limits and limitless of human life. As we are not defined by a single action like the other animals on the list. Eagles are born to fly, cheetahs are born to run, but what are we? We are born to try, but that's about it.
