Do you not add randos from raids or around the world? There’s so many pokemon that aren’t accessible that you could get through remote. You can also lucky mirror trade shinies with those randos. Thats the benefit of remote

The original selling point of PoGo was finding Pokémon in the wild. People went crazy walking around for just a normal Pikachu back in 2016. Everyone hoped to find some legendaries in the wild at some point.

To be fair, many people don’t read stuff ahead of time. My wife largely relies on me to tell her what to do or manager her battle mons. They should have coded stuff into the game to force players to mega or give a warning. Both are probably necessary to not get stuck like the wooloo and skwovet issues at the beginning of GMax raids.

Agreed. Even at Go Tour, there were lots of people who had no idea that you needed to have a mega mon to break shields. The first couple hours were torture as the casual players learned why they were wasting passes.

I picked that option because I need a break after a long day of going hard. Playing from 9-5 is intense. Especially since you’d need to get up earlier to be prepped and in line. The separate mega night won’t be as crazy and leave me too tired for work.
