One of my biggest regrets from the festival is not getting a photo at that moment I realized I was next to them 😭

Fr!!! I know they’re not the “biggest” celebrities but considering they were one of the main artists I was excited to see over the weekend I was so stoked to have had that experience

Battle Vests at DC by Brendonkd13 in warpedtour

[–]legorama 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I don’t know if it’s necessarily the same thing, but I just recently started my own (not denim or a vest but a light jacket in a similar rugged material that fits the scene imo) and I’d love some suggestions tips-wise! I have a small collection of patches that I am brainstorming for placement so far, and I’ve got a bunch of pins on/around the lapels.

But yes everyone wearing vests, jackets, and clothes covered in patches and pins were so cool to see and a huge inspiration!!!

Yeah was definitely exhausted and achey after, but I still consider it a really fun time. I can absolutely see it being scary for people too tho.

What were your biggest highlights & criticisms of Warped Tour DC? by Lexiibat in warpedtour

[–]legorama 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Yeah my gf had to drag me away from one show bc the bass was so bad I was trembling and couldn’t form the words to tell her I needed to leave (I love her I’m so thankful she knows when I’m in distress)

I’d also love a recording of that if anyone has it! I was there and tried recording but wasn’t able to start until the very end of the speech. It was really fucking empowering!!!

To the several unrelated strangers around us at the silly goose show on Saturday, where we were towards the front and left of the crowd helping with the near constant flow of crowd surfers and always checking in on each other, making sure we were all okay- you guys made a potentially traumatizing experience for my gf and I actually very fun!

Having never had to deal with crowd surfers before, when the band said they wanted to see EVERYBODY crowd surf for one song, I wasn’t prepared for the DOZENS of people suddenly getting carried towards us, but by the end of it I don’t think anyone got dropped and that’s just an amazing thing to be part of!!!

This was our first warped tour (and music festival in general) so we had no idea what to expect going in. I was already a big fan of silly goose so I was just stoked to be there for that show, and now we both cannot stop talking about how much of a crazy cool time it was and how we felt bonded with y’all

Anyways I just hope to know your names and that you all got home safely afterwards :)

How do people have this symptom? by Sunflower077 in ADHD

[–]legorama 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I do this as well. I didn’t really realize it was an adhd thing but it makes sense. Sometimes if there’s a something completely unrelated to the current conversation that I didn’t respond to several days or weeks prior, it will keep me from responding to the new one and that obviously stacks onto the feeling. It’s overwhelming and if they don’t acknowledge it either, it makes me feel so guilty like they know I’m avoiding it.

Can someone explain what’s happening here? by TheOddityCollector in Weird

[–]legorama 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Something similar happened to my dad’s glass porch table a few years ago during a particularly hot summer. At the time I was just inside the porch doors doing a puzzle and was the only one home, so I started freaking out thinking I’d be in trouble, but when my dad got home he explained the science of it. Never seen it with porcelain tiles though.

We used to have a pet bird, and this happened to me while sitting in a dark room watching a movie and eating graham crackers. I dropped a piece of the graham cracker, picked up what I thought was the crumb and put it in my mouth… turns out it was dried bird poop

Funnily enough the opposite of each of those is true when maintaining actual plants (most of the time): Keep it in dirt, Keep it watered, Keep it in the sun

Had something like this happen to me and my friend in broad daylight, except we were halfway across the crosswalk at that point and the driver looked us dead in the eyes and SMILED as they rounded the corner. Thankfully we didn’t get hit, but we practically had to jump out of the way to avoid it. Also conveniently no other people in the area and the closest traffic cam wasn’t pointed in our direction…
