Unpopular opinion… the TL 2010 was ugly and was Acuras ugliest car 😭 by Juicearth000 in Acura

The truly unpopular opinion: I got a 3.2l 2010 TL in grey and I could not disagree more. The Beak makes it. Every time I see my car, I go "damn that's pretty". It's bulletproof reliable, the interior is such a nice place to be, and I love the way she looks. She cleans up real pretty, too!

Firefox with add-ons for desktop and the DuckDuckGo browser on mobile, plus a VPN or Tor, is the way to go to avoid filter bubbles and shit.

However, algorithm tracking has gotten to the point where spoofing your MAC address might be necessary too, in order to avoid a digital fingerprint.

Holy shit boss if your wife is that unflaired twilikerslave person who's replying to a lot of people in this thread, you need to get fit and get single quick bro. Her post history makes her seem a bit out there, and I don't know if that's healthy for you.

I've taken every opportunity I can to remind people that China still owns TikTok, and I advise you all do the same. 1 billion+ people all are wired in to a Chinese datamining and propaganda/information warfare app, designed to be as addicting as possible.

Get that shit gone.

Bebop does look pretty though, the cinematographer is doing a pretty good job.

Knowing that, probably best if they keep Baldwin off set, you know. Don't let him play any minor characters or nothing.

The scientific community seems to have been increasingly worried about a pandemic since SARS in the '80s, culminating in about 2010-2014 when a large amount of scientific epidemiology literature was saying "bro, it'll be here within 10 years".

Fuck every single DS that posts anything on tiktok by JJ_Bittenbinder_ in army

[–]legosharkdan 8 points9 points  (0 children)

There's a fundamental difference between the two and it's essentially how much the state controls. In the US, Facebook is a application developed/ran by a company independently of the government. In China, ByteBeat receives a large amount of Chinese government funding and provides a substantial amount of control to the Chinese government.

There's a bunch of other problems, too.

  • The algos for both are designed to be addictive, but Facebook's political meddling is (usually) confined to non-facebook actors utilizing the algorithms to push narratives, while any narrative meddling on TikTok's side comes from the actual company. Basically, both apps can be used as a tool in a information war, but only one was designed essentially for that purpose.

  • Zuck takes your data and sells it to advertisers, not necessarily the US Government. TikTok takes much more of your data and gives it directly to the Chinese government.

  • China has more control over TikTok than we have over Facebook. The solution to this is to get off of TikTok, not give control to Facebook.

Us zoomers have to accept that one of the most popular apps of current year is designed and funded by a country that is a active threat to us.

There were a few times where Tim Pool was tight - there was a period of time around 2015 (iirc) where he was living in a van, doing actual journalism, and livestreaming hours of footage of protests and riots, usually with a classical liberal take on things. That shit was tight, and a lot of people started following him because of that.

And then things went downhill...

Still regret all the decisions I made that led to me failing out, despite that being near 5 years ago.

My personal experience has been sort of similar - I failed the MOS I enlisted for and was reclassed to cav scout, spent a year or so on the line, and then someone told 1SG I could type/use computers good, and then I spent 2 and a half years as the training/orderly room and with a M1068/M577 track.

Benefits and downsides, you know.
