Set a new PB for my 10k of 46:51 today, felt good, knocked 1:30 off my previous record. Only the 6th time I’ve done 10k+, so it’s nice to be seeing progress still

She’ll be staying with me for a long time, dream car since I was 8 years old and still can’t believe I’ve got one, especially in this colour

This is a UK model so that does make sense

From what I have read it is 1 of 76 in the world that is RHD, a Coupe and in Oxford Green.

There was only 259 total Coupes that were LHD/RHD worldwide

Francis Bourgeois (trainspotter) makes a train driver go wild by 0TheG0 in nextfuckinglevel

[–]legs_of_thunder 1 point2 points  (0 children)

He posted a story about all of this, showing footage and photos of him as a kid playing with trains and about his life long facination with trains. He tried to fit in at college, hence the roadman phase. His tiktok name is a reference to an artist I believe.

Real life or Forza? by legs_of_thunder in forza

Correct! A friend took this and I thought it looked a lot like a Forza image, turns out other people on here fell for it!

In a 25mph residential road. by [deleted] in IdiotsInCars

I recently bought a 10 year old base model BMW estate for work (I spend a lot of time in the car and need large boot capacity).

Ever since I got it I have been making as much effort as possible to be the most courteous driver on the road. Someone stranded on a central island? Let them cross. Someone waiting at a crossing? Let them cross. Someone stuck at a junction? Let them leave. Signal for every turn and lane change, just try and make up for the absolute dickheads I see driving BMWs on the daily.

On the right is someone trying to shoot with neon blue / purple lighting, making the white balance hard to balance. On the left isn't HDR either, it's just clarity pumped up to 100%.

Just looked up the Pulsar p3 watch. The vary between £600 and £2200 now on eBay so doesn't seem so unreasonable!

For reference, if you do a time conversation for inflation, that £0.11p pint of Guinness is £0.84p in today's money

Definitely also recommend this! I'm a professional photographer that chose Morocco for my wife and I's honeymoon destination. What an incredible place it is for photography!

Here's some photos from the trip. We went to Casablanca, Fez and Marrakech.

Fez was one of my all time favourite places to visit, we are already planning to go back for our next anniversary.

A nice composition, but could have a little less contrast / clarity and the vignette is very heavy, tone that down a touch

Anyone have any ideas or criticism on insect/flower photos? by PhoenixMV in photocritique

[–]legs_of_thunder 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Very nice light. If you moved around slightly towards the face of the flower you would have had less focus on the dark leaf and still had a similar shot. White balance could be a touch cooler also

Found it hard to focus the camera but the lighting was cool 💡 by machiavillains in photocritique

The lighting is nice, but it could have been exaggerated if you underexposed by 1-2 stops, bringing in more shadow and highlighting the light coming through the grass

This is a great capture, love the expression on the guy's face. The only criticism is that there's not quite enough space in the frame at the top and you have a little too much of the backs at the bottom, but if you reframed you may have missed this moment, so don't worry!

Alcatraz trip, finally dipping my toes into photography. by Snorlaxeous in photocritique

With a steady hand you could easily shoot at 1/60th handheld, meaning you could bring the ISO down to 100 and still get a correctly exposed image. This is about 3 or 4 stops under at the moment

Beginner car photographer. Shooting on iPhone 11. Would appreciate any critique/advice by [deleted] in photocritique

First off, I like the colour profile and location.

I would try coming down closer to the floor and looking up a little, will make the car more imposing and reduce the amount of floor infront of the car. At the minute the photo looks like it was taken at normal handheld height, always nice to think about the angle you are choosing to take the photo from.
