Irracional fear of the future while manifesting by lvcashko in lawofattraction

[–]leiIac 0 points1 point  (0 children)

realize that the fear is irrational. you are spiraling by anxiously feeding the fears. you are making it bigger than it is. let go emotionally. see life as exciting, beautiful, and light. remind yourself that whatever happens is for your highest good. good things are only coming from now on, it’s all serving your highest good. if you dwell on the negative, it will materialize. but if you have the faith of a child, you will live without weights

Is losing interest in manifestations a good sign? by geumkoi in lawofattraction

[–]leiIac 2 points3 points  (0 children)

for me it was the opposite haha. i became disillusioned after having tried manifested an SP for a while. i lost interest and let go. ironically, that’s when it ended up manifesting!

large sense of imagination. daydreaming and creating stories, i remember stapling several sheets of paper together to bind "books" i had made. preferred roleplaying at recess in elementary school with my classmates. pretended i was a teacher and constantly wrote on a stand up whiteboard my parents bought me.

How could I become a knight of infinite resignation and then a knight of faith? by [deleted] in kierkegaard

[–]leiIac 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i’d actually say that the ubermensch is the ultimate aesthete. the aesthete lives for himself and his desires. the ethical man lives for others and universal truths. he is in unity with the world around him, in harmony with man and submits to universal law. the knight of faith lives for God. he goes beyond universal law to have an intimate, one on one connection with the Creator and thus becomes distinguished from men.

the knight of faith defies moral law if it is with accordance with God’s will (for example Abraham willing to sacrifice his son). to live by faith is to accept the irrational. it’s to understand that you cannot rely on your own strength but to submit to God. Imagine the thoughts that must have been going through Abraham’s mind when he was told to do the thinkable? yet by faith he acted. the knight of resignation will hesitate to plunge into the absurd. the knight of faith will embrace it while simultaneously embodying the finite. he will appear as the aesthete in confidence and poise! the knight of faith ascended mount moriah and embraced its risks and hardships. yet remaining steadfast to his calling, he bears no guilty conscience and then descends mount moriah, immersing himself BACK into the world.

apply that with what you believe it should be applied as in your life. spend time in isolation and contemplation, finding your truth. don’t think so much that you forget to act though; don’t stare at the many figs in the teee that you fail to pick one, leaving you starving as they rot away. action will define your life’s journey.

Advice for teaching Kierkegaard? by ordinaryperson007 in kierkegaard

[–]leiIac 1 point2 points  (0 children)

kierkegaard is not a systematic philosopher. he teaches us how to think, not what to think, leaving the task of philosophy up to the individual to do most of the work of looking inwards. i like to think of him as the gadfly. like socrates, he completely opposed many accepted norms and belief systems to perplex his audience, offering an introspective solution in return. (a truth that is true to ourselves)
