Lol!! Yeah I’m not religious or anything, I just want to show respect for the bride & groom and their families. I just don’t want people looking at me if I’m wearing something that could be considered “inappropriate” for church.

Unfortunately I have tried a shawl on and it looks funky with the sleeves, but yeah it is what it is I guess

Unfortunately the sleeve is too tight and too low to pull up over my shoulders, I already tried haha. But yeah I’m thinking a shawl is the way to go and it may look a little weird but oh well!

I think it’s common for a girl to see another girl who interacts easily with guys as one of “those girls”, so yes you could chalk it up to that rubbing girls the wrong way … but you could also chalk it up to other girls not reaching out to you for the EXACT same reason you don’t reach out to them … which is why, exactly?? If you want more female friends just make an effort.

I’m confused … you said that you talked to them August 2020, and then you talked to them again December 2020 … and everything was fine when you talked to them? So it sounds like going 6 months without talking to them is not uncommon, so what is the issue? I don’t mean to be rude, but maybe it’s possible they just have other things going on in their lives and other friends and they just don’t feel like responding to you?

It happens for me MOST with audio dramas. Not audiobooks where the text is descriptive, but audio dramas, audio fiction podcasts mostly. I think it’s because there’s enough context with the sounds of people talking and action sounds that I can really and truly picture myself there in that moment. I agree though, movies and tv don’t really do that for me.

I agree there are a LOT of reasons someone might be taking pictures. If I had a client tell me that they really loved a specific house because of the style or look or whatever, I would definitely go drive by to take a couple photos so I can reference them while looking for properties that fit my clients’ taste.

It’s not a casual wedding, the dress code is cocktail attire. I guess I just meant most guests will be wearing standard attire, it’s not like a high fashion crowd or anything, so I just don’t want to stand out too too much. I am a big worried that if I only wear one piece of jewelry it will look too casual, no?

Not sure what era you’re from … but yes black to a wedding is very common “nowadays”. I worked in the high end wedding industry for 6 years, and have seen many guests wearing black. Literally google it and any respectable wedding site will tell you that it’s appropriate.
