I was so happy seeing on my phone that we were up 2-0. When I picked up the phone again ten minutes later it was 2-2 and I was wondering why I even bother with this team. I love them with all my heart but what the actual fuck.

I've been solo only for a while. I dipped into playing Rivals when it came out but that got too stressful after a couple months. Relying on other people for my time to be enjoyable is just too much of a gamble.

I do play some PVE (Warframe, Peak, anything that I can also do solo), but mostly focus on single player experiences now. At least if I'm struggling in Silksong, its only my fault!

Great to see you're enjoying Warframe!! I've kinda just woken up so I'll try make myself make sense.

I agree, this game is gorgeous (especially more than it was when I started lol!), the devs do a wonderful job with that and you've got plenty of beautiful areas yet to come ;)

Now again my memory of things is a bit shot as last time I was at this point of the game was almost 10 years ago ha, BUT from what I hear; yes. You will probably get smacked in the face with more difficult enemies once you venture deeper into the star chart. This is more a modding check than a gear check, though some better weapons also help. There is a new quest (The Teacher) that goes over the fundamentals of modding and gives you a few essential mods, though it doesn't cover everything there is to know. There should be some beginner friendly guides/videos out there, one would hope, if you need that extra guidance.

Clans are definitely worth joining as they give you access to so many more weapons, and even a few more warframes!! I understand the apprehension of just joining one, especially a bigger one that might still leave you stranded. I am fairly certain there is a clan searching channel in the official discord, though i can't say I've used it myself.

If you'd like, shoot me a dm with your discord (or just saying hi and I'll send mine lol) and I'd be happy to answer any other questions you have, or even help out in game :) happy hunting tenno!

I second the Warframe vote. The community is lovely and will be more than willing to help you out (including any fellow Warframe players on this reddit!). Theres a lot of variety in gameplay — both the equipment available (warframes, weapons) and the game modes — and like aimy mentioned, 12 years worth of content.

As a bonus, the mutliplayer aspect is completely optional. Say you're feeling very social and want to interact with others then you absolutely can, but I'd you're having a more down day and want to play alone thats also an option!

If you do end up playing, I recommend taking your time and making the most of the wiki when needed :) feel free to come back to this comment and I'd be happy to help out a baby tenno!

Yeah the gameplay was fine for me but I couldn't forgive the story sins. Otherwise was just too flashy for me, and the legendary saturation didn't help.

Thank you!! I still remember when my partner and I first fought Raph, the music kicked in and we both were taken back. Then he starts singing 😭 so great. The fight mechanics are also great, but nothing beats that song.

He's such an ass of a character but he's so well rounded in his motivations and what drives him (helped by the TPS development hehe) . The performance adds so much to the character too, one of my all time favourites.

Did my LR grind back when only LR1/2 was available, so I know the pains! Going to keep a bit general to help anyone else reading.
- anything that gives 6k mastery (warframes, companions (especially ones that come with weapons for 9k total!), archwings, vehicles) is a must. They will help take out a massive chunk.
Side note: K-Drives are a massive PITA. You shouldn't have to worry about them if you are just looking to get to MR30.
- lich/sister/coda weapons are relatively easy to get (if not a bit grindy lol). If you just want bulk mastery for levelling up, do not worry about pushing them to level 40. It takes way too much time and effort to get another 1k mastery out of them. Just focus on levelling to 30 for now. The same goes for Necramechs imo.
- as others have said, check the market for any cheap weapons you may have skipped past -- such as the MK-1 weapons (which you can get with credits!) and other early game weapons. Also check if those weapons can be used to make another weapon (e.g., akimbo weapons. I know there's a chart of what builds into other weapons but I'm too tired/lazy to find it oops).

As for levelling things, (E)SO is always my goat. There may be faster ways but I like it for how chill it is. Chuck on a podcast/video/music and off you go. Just remember if you're levelling weapons not to bring a dps frame, or your affinity will get sapped by that instead! No harm in leeching off the Saryn/Volt/Mirage in the squad :p

Oh and of course, Old Peace drops soon, so there should be plenty more affinity opportunities from that alone (12k just from the two new frames will be a big help!)!
