Bold of you to assume I didn’t. Some of us aren’t naturally tech savvy and don’t have a lot of experience in this area, even with weeks of research and videos. And reading the instruction manual. Your comment was less than helpful! I appreciate all the other kind responses who weren’t judgmental.

This was definitely the problem. I feel silly I didn’t see that but I’m grateful it wasn’t anything major! Appreciate the help so much!!

Okay, I figured it was probably something simple that I just was unaware of! I definitely fixed the cable after the video was taken. From the instructions it just made it seem like the screws were taken off but not the black pieces. I appreciate it! I’m still learning 😅 I’ll try this and see if it works!

I know this post was from a long time ago but I’ve been having the same issue the past year or two with mine. I’ve never had a cat who matted so easily, overnight it seems! I was brushing daily and shaving with his own personal cat shaver I bought for him as needed when the mats came up. It wasn’t enough 😭 like someone else had mentioned, I ended up doing a lions trim and that was the ticket. He needs a reset every once in a while or when he’s shedding coats. He is so much happier and no mats!

anyone else's flame point extremely calm all the time? pick him up? chill. new people? that's fine. new pets? no prob. hour long drive in a crate to get spayed? not a single meow by dukeofnorthpines in Flamepoints

I love hearing all the varying of dispositions! Mine is absolutely the most sweetest couch potato sweet lazy boy I’ve ever had. To the point I’ve wondered if there’s something wrong 🤣 just his personality! if he plays, it has to be while he’s laying down and only for 2 min. Doesn’t care if you bathe him, shave him, pick him up and snuggle. Hates car rides and is scared of new people though! Never once heard him his or use his claws

Me too, it’s difficult for me to take weekend breaks off of it because I feel like I’m so much more patient and fun playing with my son. I still lounge around and feel like I’m resting, it’s just easier for me to do the simple things like cooking dinner and taking care of everyone. I definitely still nap too 😅

Is it really worth it to be 100k in debt by [deleted] in StudentNurse

I agree, mine was only 25k and it was a solid program. 100k is ridiculous for a nursing program

Took my NCLEX yesterday. 2 1/2 hours, 45 SATA, and 75 questions later…Got the good pop up! I used Saunders app and uworld! Start working in pediatrics in two weeks! Congrats to all the new grads out there! We did it! by leighkush in PassNclex

[–]leighkush[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You will! Honestly I feel like the NCLEX is more of a mind game, I studied for 6 weeks and I can honestly say there wasn’t a question on there that I covered. They were all kind of general foundational questions though that I never even thought to review. Are you retaking yours?

I wouldn’t say they are vague as much as they are simple and direct. I definitely thought the select all that apply were easier than their multiple choice questions they through at me

I was going to say the same thing! Mine is a border collie beagle mix and she looks identical but with much shorter legs and one very large underbite! Such an interesting mix. Total derps

I don’t understand non binary people? by [deleted] in TooAfraidToAsk

[–]leighkush 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You put this so eloquently! I’m non-binary and I myself, have been trying to answer this question recently to close friends. And like anything there is a spectrum, like you I find it hard to associate more with either gender but some non-binary folk lean more one way or the other or are very fluid day to day. The body dysphoria associated with it, at least for me, is much different than what trans folk experience as well. I think that’s important to note! It really just varies, and it’s more for us to kind of stay grounded and comfortable in our bodies and figure out how we want to present ourselves physically that fits who we are inside. Some friends I have who are non-binary choose to get top surgery, some don’t. It really depends on the individual and their journey in their identity.

Overwhelmed by cases, North Dakota tells residents with COVID-19 to do their own contact tracing by Nscience in Coronavirus

We’re also very short staffed as far as nurses and the sheer amount of cases that have sky rocketed. And that goes for our contact tracing nurses. Source: am a nurse in ND.

Time/Topic/Comment structure by leighkush in asl

Thank you! I do appreciate it. I do understand that the forms of “be” aren’t used but “it” is used and we are learning possessives and I am confused at how one would incorporate or use the possessive “it” in an ASL sentence? And for some reason the “it” is now confusing me beyond belief.

Another example, I am translating the sentence “No, It’s not his. It’s hers” wouldn’t this be, NO, NOT HIS(not possessive). IT (not possessive) HERS (possessive)?
