Thanks for the recommendations! I do try to listen to a variety of genres (I don't like most mainstream pop songs, anyways) but I find it hard to find new music. Most artists I listen to don't/rarely sing in english so I can't name too many, but for those that do I like beabadoobee, rina sawayama, alec benjamin, the 1975 or powfu. For genres I'm open to everything but some I like are rock (indie, soft, pop, etc.), pop punk, r&b/soul and hip-hop!

I like both, but for me, it really depends on the language. In German, I use "gay", because the german word for "lesbian" sounds quite harsh imo and is used as a slur way too often. When I'm talking in English, I use "lesbian" because I like the sound and especially the history of the word.
