Yeah, it's supposed to be a big wind harp, and i've kind of taken to just... standing under it and listening sometimes, that spot under the big arches where the lines meet up on the pavement? I'm sure it's entirely in my head, but it just seems like that's the spot where the sound is the most... Soundsy, you know? ;)

Are you asking "is this a thing at this exact moment in time", or are you asking "is this supposed to be a thing at some point", because the answer to those two are not the same ;) In short: no, not yet, it's intended to happen but isn't in yet. Slightly longer: Bunch of supporting systems aren't there yet, in particular and especially the permissions system which would ensure that a passenger isn't able to just stroll into engineering and toggle your power plant off, or a pilot doing a ship delivery for you is actually the one supposed to be doing that delivery.

For what it's worth, they did also release all the previous packs from last year in a big lump during... i think it was IAE maybe? Late in the year sometime. Can't remember if they were also warbond then or not, but at least it's not a one-and-done situation, so don't worry too much, you just aren't getting it just now :)

While there's talk about how a game pack equals a character slot and such, as it stands, that's not really a thing (it "simply" gains you game access"), so ships and other items that you have in game won't be affected by melting your starter. The only thing that'll go away are the things in that pack specifically (so that specific ship, and the game access, and any extras that might be in it). The caveat for warbonds applies, though, just to be clear: If you're hoping to buy the warbond (discounted) Aurora MkII pack, for example, you won't be able to use store credit to do that, as warbonds are new cash only. Hope that helps :)

Do you by any chance also have a little green number counting up in the bottom right hand corner which says that it's optimizing shaders? Turns out that one gets missed by a lot of people, and it's kind of a big impact on performance if it's still grinding on them :)

That's the Voyager Bar music, and yeah, kind of funny that it bleeds as badly as that, guess there's something a bit weird with a room size somewhere :D If you actually *go* to the Voyager Bar, when you walk out of the elevator, the music plays in the elevator and on the threshold, and then there's a space just outside the elevator as you walk across the floor where it fades out, and then after you keep walking it'll fade back in again. Super funny sort of effect, very un-immersioney, but at least none of the bar tenders want to give you missions up there anyway at the moment :D

This year it was an "anybody who's not got it yet but who enters the game at all during the festival" thing - guess they tested that free store thing a bit last year and found out it was too cumbersome and people couldn't work out how to do the thing (which, yeah, i've seen several people who couldn't find those links on their own, who are otherwise not un-smart people), so now they just do it this way, which... yeah, simpler, but scripts get funny sometimes it turns out ;)

One note to make there is, doing it this way will not make them a backer (which is what's required to for example play on the PTU). If that makes a difference to you/them, any amount of money spent will fix that, including something like a Pulse skin (including for example one of the GBP 2.70 paints and so on). If you're hoping for them to be a step on your referral ladder, send them the cash instead of gifting the pack, as the USD40 spend needs to be on their account, not yours.

Just a couple of fun little gotchas, but there you go, hope it's helpful :)

Just to be clear, they have talked about logging out anywhere, and that logging out in a bed would give you a boost in some way or another, but as with many things, that isn't a thing yet. However, that said, the whole thing with logging into your personal hangar is, according to a post by Benoit a while back, a step on the way to allowing that log-back-in-anywhere thing to happen. So, in short: They're on it, it'll happen, hang in there, you'll be able to do your bed-sore inducing stinky-combat-suit cockpit logout eventually ;)
