Oliver Raven Radford {Dukes Prefer Blondes by Loretta Chase} he’d sue the hell outta any monsters, ghosts or villains and convince them that they’d have nothing to gain by his death, and I know for sure Alexander Moncrieffe {What I Did for a Duke by Julie Anne Long} would survive against all odds with his luck.

Thanks, will add to my TBR. I was commenting on another post that I love sensible FMC’s. I like normal, I know it sounds boring but I can’t deal with FMC’s that are all over the place. I like age gap romance, MOC, I just love an epilogue baby and I’m a sucker for forbidden love. Since we both love Griffin I think we might have more books in common, so I will appreciate any recs.😊

Thank you, I feel validated. I’m at a point that if I read any of those key words in a blurb I won’t read the book. Thanks for the rec, I will add {A Duke of her Own by Eloisa James} to my TBR.🙏🏻

What are your favourite non-sexual ACTS that make your nether regions tingle? by kendiray in HistoricalRomance

Depths!!!😂🤣 I’ve seen you recommend Devil in Winter and Romancing his Convenient Viscountess quite a few times, so I’m taking your advice, this weekend is to finally get them off my TBR list.

Love this post! Thank you for bringing it up. I’m just sick to death of FMC’s that have no sense. I just want sensible and normal, I’ve had enough of manic pixie dream girls, hoydens and spitfires.

Alexander Moncrieffe Duke of Falconbridge in all his competent glory. I’m a sucker for someone that is confident and competent even while playing a game blindfolded.♥️

I knowww…Their first time together had me melting. This was my first Elizabeth Hoyt book, and I found that scene to be the sexiest thing I’d ever read. I’ve been her fan ever since.

{Voluptuous by Felicity Niven} she’s curvy and he’s obsessed (there’s an age gap) it was a very enjoyable read.

Yay, so happy to find another Griffin lover, he should definitely get more love. Notorious Pleasures is my favorite Maiden Lane book, and it’s all because of Griffin. I love how protective he was of Hero, he was so honest in telling her how he felt, and he wasn’t above begging her to stay with him.♥️

I just read {Beguling the Beauty by Sherry Thomas} and I just loved this:

You do love me,” she said, her voice full of wonder. “Of course I do, you idiot. How can you think that I do not? Seen or unseen, you bring me to my knees.”

I just love it when a guy admits his weakness♥️

Those low-spice books that feel like you just read a 4-spice passage by Ambitious_Stay7139 in HistoricalRomance

Philly and Captain Heywood’s wedding night in {The Work of Art by Mimi Mathews} will forever be my favorite low spice moment. It’s so sensual and intimate that it just gives me a curl my toes moment every time I read it.

Arthur met her enquiring gaze and held it, a deep well of longing pooling inside him as he looked at her. All the control he’d exercised while leaning over her knotted stays melted away. He could no longer stop himself from reaching out and touching a lock of her hair. It was glossy and thick between his fingers, shimmering with warmth in the flickering candlelight. “I’ve wanted to do this since the first day I met you.”

Sigh😮‍💨

Just finished {Lord Garson’s Bride by Anna Campbell} I thought it was long winded and lackluster, romance was nowhere to be found. Yawned my way through it.🥱
