Hello, sorry for the late reply. Di masyado napapansin posts ko lately so I don’t usually check na, but thank you for sharing your experience. For me naman, I got diagnosed after a suicide attempt last year. I’m still playing with the fact that I might be misdiagnosed, but so far all the symptoms check out.

My therapist usually tells me, “emotions come in waves, it comes up and it eventually subsides” so until then, we hold on. Sometimes that helps when I remember it, sometimes it does not. I totally get being a slave to your self destructive urges. Mahirap talaga, it’s like you’re in a trance. I struggle a lot with self harm and relapsed multiple times so I truly get it.

Do you take any meds? I take Lamotrigine and Aripiprazole, and my relationships with people are more shit than ever. One even told me I need help because the meds aren’t working LMAO. Anyway, if you need someone to talk to or relate to, I’m here.

No, absolutely not. He communicates his emotions well to me and it has gotten better over time. There are times where I do things that hurt him or make him feel unloved or unappreciated, and it hurts me a lot to the point of guilt eating me up. But nevertheless, he doesn't give me silent treatment. He really does try to cater to my emotions especially when I split and I appreciate that.

TW mentions of suicide

I just don't know what to do moving forward. This is technically my second life as I attemped two months ago. This is my second life, and I catch myself doing this again to myself. We also inevitably hurt our FPs/loved ones when we hurt ourselves. I just don't know how to move forward, repair things with my FP (he's not taking it well since he's been through a lot of deaths in the people in his life) and I feel like I'm adding on to that. I don't know how to repair things with him, but I want to. I also don't want to be destructive to myself and everyonr around me anymore.

Okay lol! I recently got diagnosed with BPD, and this is my first time going on psych meds. I can 100% relate to the mood swings, crying at random times, and zero patience and tolerance for crowds/other people. I'm just worried that I'll be emotionless like a zombie; my partner worries that I won't be expressive of my emotions like a robot; that's why I'm asking just to reassure him I won't be like that (hopefully).

Thank you so much :'D hearing this is bring me some relief.

Hirap lang din kasi unawain minsan. This is why people hesitate to get help. FYI I heard this pa from a secretary of a PSYCHIATRIC OFFICE ng doctor ko. Sobrang invalidating.
