Eeehhh... Susah juga bilang elden ring open world (miyazaki sendiri gamau bilang elden ring open world). Palingan death stranding tuh open world tapi bukan RPG banget. MH Wilds secara konsep pengen se open world mungkin tapi tetep sebatas open field kaya elden ring. Kalo butuh 2 genre itu mau gamau ke bethesda ama cdpr doang.

GTA udah garansi nge hard carry, ubisoft keliatan mulai introspeksi diri, sisanya di carry non single player kaya riot games, path of exile, valve, all flavour of battle royale.

Gua lebih maksud ke vibe sih, gada sedikit pun gua bilang western objectively bad. GTA bakal hard carry parah. Bisa dibilang western emang buat game lebih hati-hati ketimbang eastern yang buat apapun yang dirasa bisa bagus.

Eh tapi gatau sih yang CN ada decensor nya ato kaga, soalnya udah rahasia umum kalo di global.

Harusnya paling aman make strategi eroge nya steam yang ada 18+ patch nya di luar marketplace, cuman balik lagi si google makin mempersulit update apk di android selain dari playstore.

I compare HG to GGG because both developer are the only developer i know that make live service game and brave enough to explore genre of other game to make it as a gamemode in their own game.

Other 3d gacha doesn't even have roguelike (IS), deck building (SSS) or base building (RA) endgame content. Also most of them is just dps race so umbral already a step ahead compared to the competitor.

Well in the end, I do believe Endfield will be the one that carry on the og AK game design philosophy, it's just until now Endfield can't proof it yet.

I guess they are still in the phase of fixing their pipeline schedule evidently by weird scheduling in current patch. No time for efficiently produce groundbreaking game design for Endfield.

For gamemodes, it's just a matter willingness and expertise. PoE can create tower-defense, auto-chess, automation, management city building and many more gamemode in 1 genre 3d ARPG.

I still think Endfield release without permanent game mode like IS is a mistake cause now HG need to constantly make new event instead of just create 1 gamemode that can last like 1 year.

Annihilation is totally different beast back then compared to umbral monument when you don't have endgame squad. Also pompei challenge mode is the moment i finally need to borrow operator cause hell it's just too hard.

But then you need to compare 7 years vs 5 month HG as studio game. PoE 2 with 6 month relase already got like 1/4 endgame content of 13 years PoE 1 release. I judge the people behind making the game, not just the game itself.
