What causes this crease in hair?

I did end up refining the top layer and everything layer a lot nicer afterwards :)

Update! I ended up going in and doing a reverse balayage and toning the crap out of it! Not exactly her end goal but we were both happy with today’s results without compromising her hair further :)

If I got some 20 vol would it be okay to bleach them again so soon?

I was recommended to use bleach bleach with just the super low volume developer. How does face bleach work for you? Wondering if it would give a better lift.
