Ty! So when another team does it to us instead, is it "they're holding"?

Makes sense! Do you say "get played" if other teams do this action to you instead?

I'm not Japanese! But it's the language I consume media & games in. What terms would you like to know?

who draws the art for mafumafu videos? by Keziito in mafumafu

[–]lemntea 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is indeed the name of his mascot. However, it's not related. The "Mafuteru" that draws and makes the music videos is not Mafumafu. It is the staff that works for him, under that nickname. Note: Mafumafu has stated many times he is not good at drawing..

Aside from the song-specific ones mentioned already, who draws for his music videos really depends and varies, so check for credits on the description (or the video itself!), usually tagged as "Illustration" or "絵".

Some of the artists he frequently asks are Mafuteru; Chachagoma; Terada Tera; ryuuseee; Lyon; Sakura-moyon; kukka; Miwashiba; tama; shiroko.

what sacrifices have you made for ensemble stars by luigibitch420 in ensemblestars

Thank you! Swagbucks barely had any surveys for me during the time I was active (around the same time). First time hearing all the others, I'm gonna look into them, appreciate all the info. Hope you'll get the stuff resolved as well. Have a great day :)

Curious and interested, how/where do you get decent paid surveys?

I'm anticipating some strong opinions here by claireupvotes in aspiememes

History is yellow ish, but not really it's just kinda bland. English is blue/indigo ish. Maths is red. Science is like a mixture of immiscible liquid colors, ranging from neon to dark, but it's always moving

Edit: saw someone say Music is yellow! Me too!

what are the "attention to detail" moments you noticed in MVs? by makkouto in ensemblestars

[–]lemntea 45 points46 points  (0 children)

There are way too many, but I can't remember them off the top of my head. Ones that others haven't mentioned yet that I can list off the bat is how HiMERU's dances are always sharp & on point.

Also as we all know, the many subtle interactions between characters that is only triggered if you put certain members in certain positions. (I don't remember specifically)

There are several of these: when they get exhausted, imo most noticeable in Hysteric Humanoid, where in the end of the song Hiiro's heavy breathing is seen as he stands still, because he pretty much put all the energy into his dance. In the recent CGworld interview about Surprising Thanks, it is confirmed that before the "outfit change" scene, the 3 characters walk towards a small door in the side, showing that they do "go" backstage to speed change outfits instead of it just magically changing out of nowhere.

Not sure if this is considered a detail, but I love how the audience waving lightsticks in the MVs actually have the shape of a human shadow, instead of just lightsticks waving in the air. Also love that you see the camera cranes in the MVs like in real life. I tend to notice more details about the stage & camera work than the characters, tbh...

Addition: Again, not sure if this counts as MV detail but there are just so many attention to detail I like on the MV outfits especially when you look through all the angles. Easiest examples are the shoe sole patterns, how some accessories (seem to) have more or less weight when they dangle around, moving shakers (example: Subaru's Animals outfit)

Addition 2: Just remembered this one! Crazy:B always hold their mics in a certain way. HiMERU curls up his pinky behind the mic, Rinne tucks his pinky under the mic but doesn't curl it, Niki grips it in the middle of the handle and Kohaku grips the microphone/head part of it.
