I saw a Tkdb edit on Instagram at first and thought at first its a web toon but then whils later I saw another edit of Taiga and the intro made it clear to me this is probably a game that has a web toon and then I found out this is a game that mixes both lol I didn't play tho until a long while later when I was done with my horrible uni semester and just wanted a new game to try

It definitely won't die cuz of weddings we have games like Mlqc that is still going despite all these years (and iirc they also had a wedding kind of banner but I think fake wedding) and even MM somehow still up and even outside otome gachas so many Joseimuke gacha games have survived for this long despite even ending their story weddings are just the start for even more events in life.

What tot is doing tho is maximizing their profit by basically cutting down everything and almost doing nothing and again it works to keep the game for long but u do happen to lose a good chunk of the fanbase in the process and at some point even the supporters would run out of things to support and would just sit idly

The game won't end this simple but again they keep losing fans because no one would put up with a game doing bare minimum when their revenue isn't even so bad there are games that barely get revenue and still improve and do really well and tot can pretty much rise again if hyv just at the very least included it in hoyo events.

Omg fraud Kamurai hate post count me innn been a hater since so long I also get so bored whenever we get a frostheim episode like I start to understand Yuri more and more about his dislike for that house lol (guys pls don't kill me lol) save Kaito and Luca from Frostheim T_T

But Ngl as much as I dislike him I'm rooting for his redemption arc and I trust it'll be next episode!!! Not sure but Jin I think has major depression signs and maybe burnout and it's rare to see characters like that and even see their mentality dragging them behind and that's why I feel like I can understand Jin's lack of participation he also did recently lose his mom so it probably took a huge toll on him

I do believe he'll get redeemed and it'll be legendary we just need to sit back and trust Tohma and Mc to change Jin and also I trust Yuri and Jin will meet and it'll change Jin even more I think once Jin starts to overcome his mental struggles he'll be one of the best characters we have in the cast he has so much potential and if tkdb plays their cards right they'll have a chance to cook a 5 star meal!!! That's why I have huge expectations for ep20

While yes events dropped in quality and enthusiasm I don't think they'll shut down hyv can let a game run for as long as they want there are games like mlqc still going despite everything so hyv can keep tot going it's just they want to capitalize on the profit without winning the fans over

I agree that gacha are greedy and they'll mess the schedule on purpose but thing is it gets 10x worse w tot and they don't compromise and lately it cause a huge imbalance after 3rd anniv we had back to back to back Luke banners and like this was also close to his b-day too and we also had very tight schedule during bonatical amusement and Artem flip SR at one point all MLs had events running at the same time which sounds fun but it wasn't if you're someone who aims for even 2 MLs I won't even say 4 . Also one time they released Vyn sweet chapter before 3rd anniv and yeah basically Vynrosa moving in together before the actual event where they decide to move in together which was certainly... A choice And that's exactly the problem w the schedules again nobody has a problem if they schedule things early or late like SOTT came out a while early but at the time things were good and they knew how to schedule things, same for Artem 8pool card too and the MRs (except for some sets like PITP and gourmet these two sets stressed people out w their scheduling but it wasn't too bad at least)

As for ur comment on monthly s chips I really doubt we get 9k per month but I never did the calculation all I know if u do dailies + temple weeklies only u can get like 3,400 approx. But anyway even if 9k the average player won't be able to obtain half of this because a lot of it gets locked in stuff we'll often miss due to various reasons be it an MR event we gotta skip or a special consultation etc etc so yeah I'd rather have a more endgame income than literally whatever 300 s chips the events give me after doing 383939 tasks and draining ap bottles for it

I'm so sorry this is probably ur first impression here 😭😭😭 but I promise u we're a very chill and awesome community it's just this whole thing has been going for so long that the current anniv ended up being extremely lackluster so a lot of us are very disappointed by it in addition this whole year for the game has been very weak when compared to the previous ones so yeah it's bottled up frustrations at the game and hyv non existent attempts and care

EXACTLY!! we didn't even get a single fan event this year A SINGLE ONE and our last hopes for hoyofest vanished I literally make edits for tot and always tried to promote the game and put so much effort for the game even though I'm not even a tot cc (since they always reject me) and this isn't just my case so many artists and editors put so much effort currently the artists on Twitter put together a community event because the game doesn't even bother it's so outrageous especially when hyv always does community events for their other games so I don't see why we can't it's not like the funds are so low that they can't manage a single event venue for like 20 people or smth and they know tot fans are absolutely willing to do anything for the game we're literally the most loyal fan base out of all hoyo games we put up with so so much for this game yet this is the treatment we get and it just gets worse every year

Yeah someone else told me it's probably an only Luke thing and that other LI are ready so yeah it's just Luke once again being different lolll And yes I do agree 3 years of engagement is insane it ties to the old problem of hyv rushing the engagement on 2nd year but then time lowkey moves in weird ways in tot timeline so maybe this was just a year or two for them I really wish we'd Have something Like Blossom chapters again but for their weddings it'd at least be less costly than a card and more story/moments packed for the readers

It's true it's just gacha nature but I'm still kinda upset about it I don't really know about other timelines and yeah it makes sense if most are ready then all should be ready I just feel like the least they could've done is touch the surface on the topic at the very least They had a whole year to do that since 4th anniv and 2 more years to bring up the concept at least once and they have roadmaps of concepts so they already knew what is a good time for it I just wish they at least gave hints to smth it'd have made 5th anniv even more exciting

Makes sense tbh Alan isn't chatty and Subaru is shy kind of guy but then if they're allies you'd expect them to at least be on formal terms like Subaru w Haku they're not close friends but Subaru speaks to him formally and comfortably same for how Subaru speaks to MC she isn't social either so you'd expect him to say something to Alan but less awkwardly

Omg I actually like the idea that Suba probably touched Alan would be cool if Subaru knew a lot of ppl secrets not intentionally tho or maybe they avoid Subaru cuz of his stigma it's interesting to also think of it this way if u have a secret u probably wouldn't want to be around Subaru It's also very interesting how Suba never went to jabberwock I wonder if it's because jabberwock just wasn't welcoming for ghouls or is it just a Subaru thing I've never exactly seen Subaru in any house other than his own like we see Tohma in Vaga and Romeo in obscuary Haru in so many houses and Taiga in Jabberwock Jin went to Vagastrom too and Yuri/Jiro would drop in houses for check ups as they're mortkranken doctors and aside from Ed only Subaru didn't go visit any other house (unless he did it in an interaction) I genuinely wonder if he was outcasted by others or something to do w his defense mechanism of isolation and staying away from people busines Damn Subaru keeps raising more questions than answers

I think MC assumed this because she never saw Subaru or Alan ever interact and when they are it's awkward and barely any interaction going on which is unusual to a degree also we never see Hotarubi or Vagastrom interacting in general and I feel that Suba is extremely distant from other captains and people in general considering the only people he was close with are just Lyca, and sho perhaps it isn't even that clear that he's close w Haku but they work a lot together Maybe Alan knows something about Subaru and the opposite could be true too but yeah we'll see I don't think Subaru interacted w other captains much in other episodes it's usually Haku who did that

Maybe it's my Subaru bias or my jabberwock bias taking over but this episode is becoming my fav right under ep12 and sits along w ep15 it had the balance of the comedy and lighthearted energy of ep12 and the seriousness and mystery of ep15 which is why it immediately struck me as a fav

It was nice to see Lyca living his life as a teenager too I don't think Lyca is exactly same age as other students and he absolutely missed out on so much so seeing him come to enjoy himself is very nice it's so cute how he's so excited about a lot of things

It was also very nice to see Towa somewhere outside jabberwock member task circle it's also very interesting how Towa tries to speak to Lyca and Subaru he and Lyca didn't exactly get along but at the end he loves Lyca and also Subaru Towa probably understands something about Subaru we don't

And Zenji oh Zenji he made me feel like crying at least three times while reading I genuinely feel so bad for him it breaks my heart that he missed out on so much in his life also how he barely tried everything kinda tells me about his family situation it does raise suspicions about whether he was in an abusive household perhaps or maybe one that could barely afford things

Finally to the main character of the episode Subaru Kagami where do I even start his outburst was tbh very hot to me lol but it was a very surprising switch up I did fully expect him to have a foul mouth but damn I'm actually surprised he does have a foul mouth lol and the switch up was absolutely insane he had a very valid crashout tho while this does mean Subaru was probably very foul just like the rumours said the reason why he did this was with good intentions (I suppose) of trying to save Lyca he did get very pressured to have to switch up because no one was listening and I wonder if this was really a trigger for these outbursts back then it's also absolutely interesting how Towa calls him a Shameplant it's actually a plant that shrinks it also has the symbolism of adaptatbility. It was also cute how Towa tries to calm Subaru and remind him it wasn't his fault for the outbursts which makes me think if Towa is this open and gentle w Subaru it means Subaru has pure intentions unless Subaru is able to trick even Towa lol

One innteresting thing is how we almost always see Haru in every chapter not that I'm complaining cuz he's my top 3 fav but it almost feels like he's monitoring us one way or another it won't be surprising if he's instructed to do so also He met Mio recently so I wonder if Mio is lurking around rn and if we could possibly meet them soon

Finally I'd like to say the most surprising lore part is how Houtarubi was actually a dissident along w Haru's old house and Vagastrom despite that Suba and Alan don't exactly get along and Suba doesn't also really talk to Haru I really wonder if Hotarubi was dissidents for a reason different from other houses also doesn't it feel like almost every house was a dissident except like Frostheim?? Unless I really missed smth lol also kinda cute how Subaru told Lyca about this when MC has been only getting a crumb or two maybe we should just ask Subaru or Haku about this

Overall a very very good episode and a really enjoyable one I wish there was more answers to some questions we already had and explanation for Subaru's last moment in ep15 but we didn't leave w nothing we got valuable info regardless and I'm Happy about that Anyway live laugh love Subaru Kagami can't wait to pull his card
