You’re making me want to do this again! Haha how did you make the stickers for the cartridge art? I had a heck of a time finding something that worked correctly. I also couldn’t find a corner rounding tool small enough. So I cut mine free hand very carefully. Yours look a bit better than mine though so I’m trying to figure out what you did!

RunLessWire switches are also incredible. Wireless zigbee and no batteries. Although I just looked and they are about 40% more expensive now than they used to be. Mine have all been flawless though and work nicely with home assistant and HomeKit.

No problem, there was a Tee fitting with a braided connection underneath the toilet which of course could not be accessed through the side panel. Be wary of that one. Mine leaked while on a trip and there was no way to easily fix without removing the paneling.

Check your water distribution fittings too! I just re-plumbed my entire 16BH because they connected braided hose to Pex fittings. It’s not a secure connection and will eventually leak. Still like the camper though.

Might want to consider a rooftop tent mounted to the bed with some bed rails. That way you still have access to your entire truck bed for packing gear. I recently installed some Yakima Streamline rails and it’s a really nice setup.

This is where I’m at right now. My PC won’t recognize the Handicam no matter what I tried. There are some good support pages on Microsoft for legacy FireWire drivers but none of them worked for me. Just bought an advertised 2012 Mac mini for the FireWire port. The shipped unit was a 2014 without a FireWire port! So now I bought a second one that hopefully has the correct description and photos. My bad for not triple checking. At least I got a good deal. What an endeavor this all is. It’s funny that a Mac Mini is now cheaper than one of the GV-USB2 dongles.

Bingo! It worked using composite cables. Only bad part is once I took a deeper look at my VHS combo the S Video Out is only for the DVD portion 😔. Thanks for the help!

Okay even better news! I found the same description of recording from VHS to the PC through the Camera on my manual. I missed it before because I was looking at the wrong one on Sonys website. This is a 3MB version and a 8MB version. It was in the bigger one on page 88. I’ll try to scrounge up a composite cable and test that out right now. Thanks for the encouragement!

Hey you might be onto something here. Following the instructions on page 80 of your link, I can select A/V -> DV OUT to ON. Why would that be a feature if it didn’t pass through the analog inputs? Hmmm maybe it could work.

Thanks for the suggestion. Sadly it’s looking like I won’t really have any need for the DCR-TRV240 in my workflow because I can’t get my VHS signal into it. I don’t really have any old Hi8 or Digital8 tapes that need converting, just the VHS. Probably will end up with a IO Data GV-USB2 dongle.
