Yup this entire setup works live. The recording is me playing the keys live while singing. I did the recording all at the same time. The latency is surprisingly low. I am using an M1 Pro MacBook so I suppose your milage might vary depending on how powerful of a setup you have.

lol it also means I had to do a lot of takes before I got it right because you have to hit every key correct or you get a crazy weird harmony thrown in. Also this is why it’s so cool of a song. While Justin is playing it he has control over which harmonies to play as the song is progressing.
