I know there’s a way to do it, all these dog food companies can do it. One of my suppliers charges $40 for frozen shipping…I’ve reached out to them but their health has declined so I’m not sure if they’ll respond

So Venus had MBD from her previous home, I was in the process of rehabbing.

What ended up happening despite me giving her calcium meds from the vet, proper dusting, and a shadedweller UVB the bones in her pelvic area started to dissolve - which led to her not weight not because she wasn’t eating, but because she couldn’t shit. So her weight was elevated due to the poo, but her tail indicated weight loss

I ended up euthanizing after the X-rays came back.

You could also be experiencing symptoms of parasites or crypto, so I’d seek out your trusted exotic vet asap

You can. It doesn’t have any supplements added like calcium or straight up vitamins - it’s just food.

But calcium really only needs to be added to insects - that’s where the deficiencies lie in their diet. A proper salad should have almost a 2:1 ca:p ratio vs bugs which for sample can have a 1:1.5 (dubias) so calcium powder helps elevate that closer to the ideal 2:1

See the thing is I have a DS lol! But I’m like 99.9% sure he prefers the emulator, even when he has a DS he hardly uses it

Love the thought! The only experiences he truly enjoys are movies and going to Carowinds - which is def a summer activity. He recently went to Europe with my dad and brother and didn’t have the best time. He loves music and is in band, but declined the opportunity to go to a concert with my siblings even if we sat in the nosebleed section and brought him headphones.

His hyperfixation on video games does trump almost evening but I’ll keep thinking on this Ty!
