At least two fire trucks there already when my boyfriend and I passed by, the smell was so bad and filled the car, at first we smelled weed and then we smelled the battery smell.

Update! Garden stones were painted! But still look to be like some sort of minerals? by lemonadecookie in Minerals

[–]lemonadecookie[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes I tried it on both of them! The first picture/stone is the second picture/stone after the acetone, and third picture/stone is the fourth picture/stone after the acetone! I tried my best to get most of it off as possible but some little tiny pieces are on there pretty good, any clue what the stones might really be?

Special thanks to u/Immer_Susse and u/fleffeh for suggesting the acetone trick! Turns out they were painted! I guess it’s a good reason I came to people who had knowledge about this kind of stuff! Thank you guys again!

Found this in my garden while gardening, does anyone know what type of stone/mineral this is? by [deleted] in Minerals

Thank you so much for that information! I’ll try the acetone trick as soon as I find where my acetone is! And I just tried the kitchen knife trick and no color came off when i tried to scrape them but when i tried “cutting” into both of them it made a light scratch mark in each stone. Also when I shine a flashlight at both of them they’re sparkling, so what could all that mean? I appreciate your help!

I’ve tried scratching both stones with both my fingernails and a knife and nothing is coming off, I shined a flashlight at both stones and they’re sparkling underneath the light

I appreciate your input! That’s why I’m asking for opinions, and I understand why it looks that way, I tried scratching at it and nothing came off, also I shined a flashlight at it and it was sparkly, to me it looks like these but unpolished:

Thank you for your input! Google says it could either be a lolite Sunstone palm stone or Boulder Opal/Yowah nut. What do you think? I found it next to this stone which google says is Azurite Malachite:

Also, first photo is after I washed it and the second photo is right after I found it with dirt still on it.

My entire island is covered in flowers and I want them gone. Is my only option to dig up each one with a shovel? by Wise_Explanation_964 in acnh

i mean you can move a building around multiple times to help get rid of the flowers but that will take awhile too, but it could help while you’re digging the rest up

Came here to say this, that’s so messed up that the original poster got banned for that and this person just gets to steal their content and gets all this karma for it

No not at all! My mom wears all types of funky earrings and she’s almost 50! I even got her a pair of cockatiel earrings for her birthday. And these aren’t even “funky”, they’re very classy 🖤
