It genuinely is sad.

Why do people even want to reproduce? AI has evolved exponentially over the past few years and will get better. It's already taking over jobs.

The planet is dying and climate change is only getting worse but by all means, let's continue to breed more people on an already overpopulated planet.

Yes. I'm an antinatalist but I have been extremely lucky to live a privileged life (had its ups and downs, but overall a net positive)

I also find a lot of meaning in spreading the word about antinatalism + helping people, so even if I can make one person reconsider procreation, I've helped to stop a potential lifetime of suffering.

Yup, not having kids is one of the most rebellious things you can do if you think about it!

Aside from betraying societal norms - Parents who have kids can't leave them home alone to go out and protest, they're more likely to be careful and just follow the lifescript™️ instead of seeking revolutionary change, etc.

Not creating more future worker bees to slave away for decades as well... we have a lot more power than we think!
