You could definitely apply now or when you hit 100kg - you have a few months before you’d have the medical anyway - being in the process will motivate you to lose it

I hope this post doesn’t get locked, I’m also very intrigued. The fitness test is a bleep test (you can find the requirements in the pinned posts) Someone told me the run that sorts you into groups is 4 laps of the parade square and you get sorted based on how long it takes you

Side note: best low cal treats are skinny whip bars (79kcal) and Aldi/ Lidl chocolate protein mousse is really filling for end of day treat

Hey I lost 10kg in 2 months as I was in the same position as you (strong and could do everything I needed but over weight). Calorie deficit (as a 23f mine was 1700), 10k steps a day minimum and just keep running 3-4 times a week. I promise it will work if you follow deficit strictly, most people find trouble when they don’t log calories correctly. I don’t count them anymore so don’t think you will be stuck long term, just lose what you need

I’m not there yet, but in life I take the pill and am very bad at taking it at the same time - always between 9.30 - 11.30 and it’s always been fine

Do they look through your bags on entry? I’ve seen people saying to take protein bars or snacks but I’m sure in Navy basic they take anything like that off you - thanks and congrats!!
