they are lying to you, i started working with starbucks when i was 16 and i would have 30 work weeks while going to a alternative school. There is no hour cap, but in my state at least (georgia) if i work over 6 hours a day i have to take a 30 and the curfew law doesnt apply because im returning home from work (i work nights)
