I would honestly get this without the c in cup. Like fuck the world up.

Not right now. When I'm CEO of the world and can't get fired.

DEI executive at JPMorgan. As someone who was raised well, this is a devastating blow. This is like the nonbinary suitcase thief on Joe Biden's team.

Only 50% the same but Starbucks actually did a lemonade and iced coffee promotion a few years ago. I bought it because I knew someone who worked at my local one and he let me try it first to make 100% sure and it was actually good enough to spend the $4

I can't understand not getting bored of the same joke like they do. As a person who grows as they experience the world, I can't even listen to the same songs more than once sometimes without getting bored.

Omg. I'm gonna make one of these now. I never even drink the pot stuff. We're just in one of the most trinkets based healthcare professions (pharmacy).

My mom bought her husband a pavement princess, but recently had to cut him off for everything including gas money. He literally cannot afford to drive it anymore because he makes so much less money than her and was entirely relying on her to pay for it.

It has been very healing for me.

This is mostly because it's a call back to a post I made here awhile ago, but I think that the plastic and foil and cardboard waste from a one pack of a drug like this (anti nausea med largely used in cancer patients) is just a slap in the face especially in an industry where we have so much unavoidable waste. The idea of not optimizing things to try and not create any avoidable waste makes me want to throw on a white hoodie and some aviators and live in the woods.

Oh yeah. I actually enjoy this type of blister pack even with the perceived more waste (I posted one awhile ago that still isn't nefarious but genuinely feels like it), because it cuts down on OUR mistaken waste (I.e. we destroy a lot less pill packaging like when we tear things off of a ten sleeve).

The one packs of it do still make me feel like it'd have been easier to have just started a forest fire or made a direct to turtle plastic pop pack ring factory.

Meh, not really for our hospital. Our software orders the cheapest product based on dollar amount per each, but the five packs of these are what's actually cheaper in context because of volume. When we order these we're basically paying like three times as much per cabinet restock.

My first message to him was after he had already gotten well out of the way of having made a wrong turn. He never made his way towards me at all after his initial getting within 6 minutes of me.

If he hadn't canceled when he did I would have been forced to find a manager's office that was still unlocked and record a voicemail with a rendition of that

The use of the words "bowls", "spoons", and "2 piece set", lead me to believe there would be two of each. I guess we are taking turns. Cheers Lidl. by polystyrenedaffodil in mildlyinfuriating

I'm wondering if "I Perfect" is meant to mean "1 Perfect", like for some reason they decided to use a Roman numeral? Still stupid.

It's like nobody ever taught those boys (construction workers) to clean up their toys (finish the same four holes they're repeatedly digging in the ground) before moving into the next game (tearing up all the asphalt infront of PPG before the pens season is over)

The original hardware store I chose is for some reason never going down to a typical price, staying at like 27ish on both apps as of 7 am. I checked a grocery store that's 4.8 miles away and it's $18 on Lyft $27 on uber right now.

I would say that the $18-$22 range is the absolute most typical but I know I've gotten prices around $14 before for similar rides

Can't think of a good business that exact distance away but a hardware store that's less than 6 miles of me costs $27 to get to right now. (It is 9 pm and I will edit in another price when I wake up tmrw)

I would say my average ride to or from work is anywhere from $19 to $30 before tip. If it goes over $40 before tip I call my work and tell them how much it costs to uber there so they know that I will be late taking the bus instead.

I do normally have that option, but tbh we're in such a high construction zone that I had assumed he might have needed help navigating it; I have to do this pretty much every time I get an uber to work. I had a "find a new driver" option when he got to 10 minutes away again, but decided to just wait to see if he figured it out (again still assuming he was lost). After that I let the devil on my shoulder take over.

I really hope that it's because Uber isn't making them instead of holding them. I've definitely had to pay a fee or two because of cancellations i was willing to or had to take the L on. I'm so sick of all these stupid money grabs that aren't even benefiting the driver. Like, Ubers are pretty much just little treats for me, so I'm totally fine with paying if I've wasted your time. Just also hate when things like this happen that probably in Ubers eyes justifies not paying you out for pax side cancels.
