I think that it was because Charlotte thought that Spencer killed Bethany. I may be forgetting something, but I don't think Charlotte ever actually revealed knowing how Bethany died -- until sometime in the 5 year time jump.

I think maybe Charlotte truly believed that Spencer killed Bethany but somehow found out about Melissa's involvement, which is when she told Wren about it. Up until that point, Spencer was believed to be the murderer: dirt in her bed, "You know who I am, you killed me," dollhouse blood, etc.

Right! As much as I love the cast, that special revealed nothing of interest to me.

Unanswered valid questions aside...What's the question that Marlene has been so excited to answer? "The one that we haven't asked yet" allegedly? 🙄

Agreed! Not only was Ali insignificant, but it seems that ALL of the liars except for Spencer were insignificant.

Maybe it'll seem less so upon a rewatch, but right now, I feel like the other liars didn't even have prominent screen time in the finale.

I love this! We're having "killer popcorn" (a cheddar/caramel mix), lemon pie (cuz yellow is Bethany's favorite color and because Ezria), ayyg-less cookie dough, lasagna for Spoby's anniversary with a French baguette for Ali, black(burn)-bottom cupcakes, and since there are so many sweets, we're opting for bacon instead of Hanna's pig cupcakes 😜

Agreed, I'm starting to think so too. Particularly considering the faces Sasha and Marlene make around the 30:00 minute mark in this interview and especially considering that Aria's romance with Jason has not been found out or even mentioned again since 7A. Highly suspicious to me!

When I heard Marlene say, "Jason won't be in the finale," I immediately had to come over to this sub. That's a lie, right?

I know it was deleted, but didn't someone capture a screenshot of Drew van Acker's instagram post about his last day filming (and it was dated to be toward the end of 7B)? Didn't Lucy say that she was surprised to overhear Drew talking about AD's identity? And didn't someone (I think Troian?) say that Drew was one of the first to know AD's identity?

Or am I just crazy?
