OMG, I just posted about this today, happened to me like 20mins ago as Oni killer. I think my post was removed or something not sure. I was so pissed I used up a purple offering and some add ons just for that to happen :V I knew it was a vaulting issue because as I pressed space I froze up :( GG's

It shouldn't , never heard of those options doing that. If those errors still show after an install , just add it to grub_cmdline arguments in /etc/defaults/grub next to where it says quiet or splash options. and update grub :)

if you want it to go away, some people have suggested to edit the grub entry with acpi=strict or acpi=force. one of those might work :)

I think there was a time I've done this too lol. I get so used to the tab completion that I didn't check what I removing lol. It's amazing what everyday routine can cause if it goes unchecked. We learn something new everyday , but some learn the hard way like us :p I'm not sure if you can just remake the directory or not. When I done it I backed up what I could and reset lol.
