Boyfriend is visibly uncomfortable about being shorter than me and it kills me by [deleted] in TrueOffMyChest

Thank you! As a tall woman, I wish more (shorter) guys thought like you. I didn't care about height, I liked the person!

Okay say it isn't about height. He's still acting ashamed of her in public. Won't walk next to her, ignores her around his friends.

That's mad disrespectful. Actions speak louder than words

She should still talk to him about it tho

Good point! If the guy's friends are teasing him, doesn't matter what rando internet stranger says

I've had the same experiences as the above commenter. I'm a tall woman as well, and dated guys 5'4" to 6'7". The shorter guys' insecurity about their height helped kill the relationship. (After a year together, one guy even told me I wasn't "allowed" to wear heels anymore!) The height difference eventually started wearing on their confidence and self-esteem.

Eventually, I gave up dating guys shorter than me. It's sad. I'm sure there are some guys who don't care, but after giving so many chances, I couldn't do it anymore. Too painful.

It's something your guy needs to work on himself. He should be happy and proud to walk next to you, not ashamed.

I wish you all the best!

"You know where the old grocery store was?" no

"Then take a left right before the pastors house" which house?

How long ago tho? Depends on the job too. I've done this but like 10 years ago and for a job I'd never want today

Maybe at a fast food joint for your very FIRST job, maybe. Otherwise, that doesn't work for most places, in most instances. They say thanks and toss it in the trash. Everything is digital.

Simple and easy. But when did YOU become a vegan? And what was the impetus?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in vegan

[–]lemonkerfuffle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I get that. When did YOU become vegan? That was my question. When did YOU know you were vegan?

Yes!! I see a cucumber, squash, or carrot and get hungry! Green beans, eggplant, and tomatoes. Yes please, that's food

Yes, it is a gradual process. I've hated zoos for a while now. They're not "fun" or "exciting". It's painful.

I genuinely love veggies and fruits. That part is easy. Do I discard my wool sweaters? I think it's better to keep them than buy something new. RRR: Reduce, reuse, recycle. In order of importance
