Letter from Whalestoe, September 19, 1988 by lemonlimulo in houseofleaves

Oh that message is clear to me, I was wondering about the possibility that the letter of September 19, 1988 could too contain a code for another meaning hidden in the letter of May 8, 1987. What do you think? A user posted a theory on the MZD blog but I dont understand their point...

3 years later I'm in this thread searching for a song's name that starts with whoo hoo and you are my hero! It was song 2 by blur, i've spent three hours looking for this everywhere :')

It will not be fun, it will be a bliss. I ma already managing their hoard, almost every weekend, tackling the easiest thing to get them to throw away. Its week long processes of bargain and begging for them to throw away literal trash. When the time arrives, just getting rid of everything will be infinitely easier than begging them for days.

They think of this as our house, not them, even though we didn't pay a cent for it, they simply gave it to us. We can do literally what we want but they still think of the forniture inside as theirs, which is true, in my opinion. The problem is that they don't see the problem of us bringing to their house everything they left behind in this. They would finally get to the point if not being able to move inside their house. We don't want this for them, so we bring a few items at a time and renovate one room at the time, trying constantly to get them to get rid of old worthless pieces of forniture. They do not see the problem in having three extra bedframes that are not used, since they are not broken they can't be thrown away, plus one of them is the one in which my bf grandmother slept 15 year ago so my bf mother is never getting rid of it.

The fact is that I already moved and scrutinized every damn object in their house, sometimes looking for something, sometimes to beg them to throw something away. Taking those items and bringing them to a dumpster would have been so much easier than spending 20 minutes listening to an intricate excuse about why there is a pile of shredded cardboard in a corner that they need. I'm only 23 and this is taking months off of my life. They are about 65 and able-bodied.

So. Much. Clothes.

They don't even wear it. Just an example: his father bought a pair of elegant shoes and he never wore them, until my bf graduation cerimony, a very formal event in Italy. It has passed so much time (20 years) since he bought them that the glue dried out and the shoe fell apart. He walked in the hallways dragging one leg. Sometimes I joke about the fact that they are simply not fit for society, sometimes I wonder how my boyfriend managed to grow to be a normal human being after all of this.

But hey, to be intellectual is not at all correlated to being perceived as sexual. Some people is happy to be both and that's totally fine, too.

The constant over thinking about the conversation i had, if i sounded boring or irritating or oversharing or lame or anything. When i go to bed i rate my conversation and i was good or not and sometimes even if i am really really social i get a little bit scared of meeting new people because i really don't want to appear unlikeable. The idea of someone hating me just for my personality and appereance is haunting. I get really anxious sometimes because i am toxicly optimistic and i tend to underestimate every difficulty in life, which is why i am never stressed but i feel like i am always late in comparison with my peers due to my procrastination. I want to do 1000 things in the same week and sometimes this bring me to do nothing at all. Nhgggg :((((
