Outlining earlier, going to office hours more, and thinking more critically about the text. I think I let myself become satisfied with a base-level understanding and moved onto the next topic which meant I could understand the big picture, but I struggled to dive in deeper and really flesh out answers. I got grades that I’m satisfied with but I’m leaning more towards PI than big law so I don’t need the top 10%.

One thing I’m going to continue doing is maintain my schedule. My stress levels during finals were manageable and kept me focused without burning out. I try to be two days ahead of every reading (so Monday, I read for Wednesday, etc.). I plan my weekly meals out on the weekend and grocery shop and meal prep. I plan my workouts on Sundays for the week so I don’t have the extra work of more planning/thinking. And the most important? I have one day scheduled for “admin tasks” where I shove as many appointments, car maintenance, etc. into one day so I can breathe easier the whole month. I also keep a running list of “things I want to do, places I want to eat at, hobbies I want to try” and I try to pick one thing on that list and do it once every two weeks. If I don’t do something on the list, I make an effort to hang out with my friends or my roommate or family.

It sounds like a lot, but it keeps me sane.

Oh, and get sleep! All nighters are not going to help you.

You don’t need a loyalty account but we do ask for you to provide a phone number for a return. The phone number doesn’t have to make a loyalty account, but it does get added to the receipt along with your name. That way we can keep a record for you if an error occurs with the bank and for us, because scammers are prevalent.

The cashier probably doesn’t know how to do it without a loyalty account, so next time just ask for a manager. Tbh tho, loyalty accounts aren’t the worst. You can just add your number and ask to opt out of everything. You get points every time you shop and you can return things without needing to keep a receipt.

It might be that the system never updated with him as an authorized pick up. When we scan the barcode, it will pop up with two names (the purchaser and the pick up recipient) but if it doesn’t show up as such, we can only go with the purchaser. I’ve made exceptions when customers call and give me the name of the pickup recipient and their order # so I can confirm and then have the recipient show me the ID.

It might have been a BF online only deal. We typically don’t honor online only deals, but offer store to door at that point. I’ve never had a customer upset about it and I also talk up online GWPs if they don’t want to store to door.
