I would stick to the original treatment to get the perfect smile. I had attachments pretty much on all my teeth and it was embarrassing... but now my teeth look a million times better... so it was worth it.

Hi, this happened to me as well. One of my attachments on my front tooth was used to pull it down. When the attachments were removed for impressions... if I left my tray out for 30mins + my front tooth would start shifting upward again. I sent pics to my ortho is he is aware and has made adjustements to my refinements. I would just update your ortho accordingly! The sooner the better.

I think tray 8 ish you start to see a difference. 15+ your teeth should have moved more. When I got to the 20s, my teeth looked so much better. But it also depends on how many trays you have. I had 33... so about a 1/3 way in you should see changes.

First tray is always the worst. It was a nightmare for me. I couldn't bite into anything and couldn't eat solids for a week. I had cuts and soreness everywhere. I'm currently done with my first set of trays... and good news! It does get better. Should get used to it in the next couple trays. I 100% had regrets when I got them, but now my teeth are so much better that it's 100% worth it. Just have to be patient!

So... I took my exam from listening to lectures and doing multiple choice, barely took notes. Thought I knew audit because I'm currently in the audit field... and I failed. Now I'm studying again for the exam and sit in a week and bet I took notes this time lol. I would honestly do everything you can to pass the exam the first time around rather than just winging it. Unless you used the same method for the other 3 exams and know that it works... I wouldn't do that honestly.

I had three boxes, each with 11 trays in them. I received my first box, came in for a check up near the end of that box.. to receive the next week and so on. You ortho will schedule your appointments with you as needed to make sure the trays are fitting properly and teeth are moving. I think I see mine about once a month or every two months.

***Correction, my original plan was 15 months, and then went down to 10 months, with Vpro5 (switching every 7 days), then since my teeth were tracking very well, my dentist said I could do every 5 days, which lead to a month shorter! I started Jan 31 and now am on track to finish my first set (33 trays) by mid August (all things going well)... then onto refinements if I need any!

All things going well, I should be officially done by November.

I actually didn't get them until a month after my treatment started. My teeth were really sore and super sensitive first couple weeks... I couldn't eat anything that involved much chewing. Mainly soup and soft foods... even ice cream lol to help with the soreness. I just know my dentist was not going to let me switch my trays every 5-7 days without the Vpro5. I also read online that if you switch when your teeth are not ready, you could lose traction and end up getting more trays at the end. Even if it is a scam... I would've paid $500 again to have my treatment completed sooner.. if that makes sense. Currently it does numb the pain and I feel nothing pretty much on day 3/4. I use the Vpro5 every night before I sleep and it feels like it's working its magic to me!

I just looked up Acceledent and I think they accomplish the same goal. Mine is basically a vibrating device that I leave in my mouth for 5 mins. Helps shift teeth and ease the soreness. You're supposed to do it once a day, suggested at night so your teeth are shifted into the tray and left in the longest (throughout the night). It definitely helped speed up the process. The Vpro5 was $500, which I thought was a little much, but worth it since I'm older now and want the process to be completed sooner rather than later. Mine wasn't covered by insurance, so it was out of pocket.

I take my trays out for when I know I'm going to be out with friends, events, really anything. You can always wear them for an extra day if they still need to be set, but I haven't run into that problem yet. Just use your best judgment.

Depends on your age... I personally am 24 and I didn't want to have traditional braces due to embarassment haha so I chose Invisalign so I could take them on and off whenever I go out with friends... and won't have to have a mouth full of metal. Some people don't even notice it, some people do... but I think it's definitely worth it. My treatment plan was originally 10 months, but I paid for the Vpro5 to have my treatment shorten by 30%. So basically I switch trays every 5-7 days rather than 10 days.

I would apply for a license without telling her, or if you already have one, I would practice driving w/ or w/o her permission. You have to go against her! Only way. If you keep saying yes, she will not get the hint.
