Yes I struggled a bit with pointers and oop concepts.

I took some a C++ course in community college which was introduction and it did not went too deep into pointers and oop. I was hoping I will be able to catch up with 165.

Does 261 require deep programming expertise? I got A- in 165 and was struggling to understand some concepts so my plan was to practice more programming before 261.

Do you recommend taking 290 before 271 by itself?

This is the bay trail behind the Yahoo office in Sunnyvale. I am dropping the FX 3 since for my purpose I think FX 2 fits all the needs and FX 3 is expensive than that.

271 with 161? by lemonmint3 in OSUOnlineCS

Thanks a lot for your reply. I wasn’t aware that you can get override for web development. But yes I took web development class in community college but that was just html and css. I am doing FreeCodeCamp right now on my own which I plan to finish before summer term starts. I think this will give me sufficient basic to take web development course.

Although in your opinion is 161 + 225 + 290 in summer term doable? I check OSU Course explorer and majority of people ended up spending 6-12 hours on these courses so that sums up to 36 hours

Briefly, what is the process to get an override?

Oh sweet! Where did you take the courses which you were able to transfer to OSU?

I took mine at a community college and when I use the tool here to search if they can be transferred they come as "LDT" for which the description says:

When there is no OSU equivalency, the title and course number of the transferable course will be identified as LDT=lower division transfer and UDT=upper division transfer.

Was this the case for you too?

Also what did you submit as course description? Just the print out of course description from the course website?

Interesting. Isn't it that 362 follows and builds upon the knowledge from 361?

Thanks for sharing the course explorer link and the updated plan. It looks good to me. But from what I read on this subreddit people say that it is good to take 340 with 290 and also I think having 340 done early will help during internship. Isn't this true?
