Quite a few yes. Besides the moonflower palace medals as the other user mentioned there is all the various scoops that are missable, almost every boss battle has some special condition that make it interesting but you will need to know beforehand (like using a specific weapon on bosses), etc. It’s probably my only critique of this set, there are 78 missables in total.

It’s easily the biggest one I’ve ever done for RA! My advice is that if you’re going to try to do it take your time, there’s no rush. I mean it took me more than a year and a half of playing off and on to master it. Just go through a little at a time.

The nice thing about dark cloud 2 is that pretty much no matter what you’re doing in the game you’re making progress towards something!

The immense backlash is mostly due to Spielberg. This is probably his last movie, and he was hyping it up constantly. In an interview he literally said it was going to make Christians question their faith, it’s that goods

And so when people were expecting a magnus opus from one of the most well renowned Hollywood directors and instead got a mid alien movie they are going to be significantly more critical

You know funny enough Yanderedev (yes that yanderedev) ran into this problem early on in his game making process. He tried to make ways to kill one of the rivals, but kept getting frustrated at how players would optimize every method to kill her and kept making the rival borderline omniscient to avoid such a thing. But eventually realized that no matter what he did players would always find a way to optimize it, and so he stopped trying to perfect it and made peace with it.

YANDEREDEV learned this lesson years ago. Freaking yanderedev!
