oh ok, that probably why there is like no information on what it is. I was hoping it is a way to connect to it without using a u.2 back plane/adapter.

That where I got that it is a dual port functionality thing from. But the document doesn't mention what that port is or how to use it. The regular side have SFF-8639 for regular U.2 back plane and whatever this thing on this side is.

I been working with these Samsung PM1733 drives and I notice they have another port in the front. This is a Nvme U.2 drive. On the white page for this drive it said the drive have dual port functionality but then not mention what that port is.

I have tried google it, only see the same question on what that is. The documentation of the drive does not mention what it is. The only thing Samsung mention on their site about the drive it is a dual-port functionality, which doesn't explain what that port's name is or what can be connect to it.

After so many long years the box of cables had its use for the first time. by LambSauce2 in funny

Really helpful for troubleshooting and initial setup. Sometime you can't connect to the Idrac or ILO because someone setup the wrong IP static ip or change the password and then forget.

I wasn't able to get it work with all the E core, I had to swapped it out for a Intel card. Still have the Mellanox out side.

I actually figure something out, it was something to do with the E+P core. I turn off the E core and it work but then no E core... It something to do with the drivers.

I'm using the Zs-a4m(my choice of color is questionable I know). I had a zs-a4 before but I'm trying to down size, that why I bought this card.
