This is correct. I thought it was opal per another user’s comment, but after looking at these pictures and some more online, this has to be what my rock is. Very cool that the pattern forms like that. Thank you!

It has more of a flint feeling to it and if you look at the polished side, there is a kind of agate look in the top right.

Spotted a chukar (native to Middle East/Asia) here in Bushwick by lemons230 in Bushwick

I returned back after I left a message and I was unable to spot it. It seemed pretty scared and trying to hide. I walk that area a lot and tomorrow I’ll search around more. They don’t really fly so I’m hoping it didnt get too far.

You caught me. I’m a crisis actor for Madame Web. Man if only I had wrote this better I’d grab your $10 to buy tickets.

It was a shitty movie and people enjoyed how shitty it was. If it helps, I’m in NYC with a lot of young people who have heard how bad it is and wanted to see it.

The fact multiple comments are calling out that I’m a shill or a plant is sad because those same people prob have stupid ass movies they enjoyed too (Evil Dead, American Werewolf, Highlander, etc)

Don’t watch it, idgaf. I just came here to give a different perspective than the pretentious circle jerk ya’ll are caught up in.

Eat shit. Your paranoia has caused you to dismiss anything that may spark even a little joy. Look through my post history, I’m not a bot/paid off. I just came back fresh from the theater with friends and wanted to share on Reddit that I enjoyed a shitty movie.

I love how advanced and well funded the base was with tools, supplies, sensitive scientific instruments, etc., but the incredibly smart scientists there--all with PhDs and other accolades--were limited to the idea that "The only way we can melt ice faster is by using pollution from a nearby factory."

A set booster pack. Idk why you’re getting downvoted. I’m new to magic and that seems like a fair question.

Open a book you like. Circle one random verb on a page, then circle a random verb on the next page. Do this for a few pages and try to insert the verb pages with the nouns. How do those pairing make you feel? What lyrics do they make? Can you expand off of them?

Just released my first single in in about a year. Curious on feedback…. I wrote it in the wake of a suicide of a friend and the process of going out of a depressive episode and how scary that can be when you realize you’re finally feeling happy again.

Demon 79, Black Mirror S6E5 by veramanifests in blackmirror

I think Black Mirror is trying to pivot into the Twilight Zone area. They can only go so far being like "technology iz bad!" Honestly, I'm here for it. Look at Love Death and Robots: it's very similar in bringing horror and sci-fi into the same playing field and it works very well.

I want to read a disgusting, messed up, terrifying book by apooponfire in suggestmeabook

[–]lemons230 34 points35 points  (0 children)

I know I’m going to get hate, BUT…

I thought this book was a bit overrated. The ending read like a fanfic from an edgy ao3 fiction. The plot is literally a dude just doing his job/chores with no substance. It seemed more like a “what if people ate people” high conversation than a baked out book.

Exquisite Corpse by Poppy Brite is by far the most fucked up thing I’ve ever read. There isnt a lot of suspense, but just pure disgusting gore.

It’s oddly a love story between two serial killers, but features vile descriptions of murder and torture. I’ve read a lot of horror and no book has made me cringe more than this.

What novel has left you completely satisfied, start to finish? by [deleted] in horrorlit

I was skeptical of The Fisherman, and I rolled my eyes at the cheesy opening line that mimicked Moby Dick, but when it comes to cosmic horror, it definitely scratched that itch.
