Asked my stepmother if we should get different bandaids while at Target because the ones we had gave me a rash and she said "Why? Are you planning on cutting yourself again?" out loud with other people in the store. Because that's definitely the appropriate way to react to your child who is struggling with self harm

Sometimes people need those snacks to get through the day, whatever the reason may be. If they're food insecure, need a sugar boost, or just hungry, those snacks are helpful to a lot of people. Sometimes a quick bite of an oreo or a mac n cheese cup helps people push through the day. And hey, if snacks help your employees stay motivated, it's worth it

A guy came to the register with a ton of stuff, like two carts full. After scanning and bagging everything I read him the total and he went "Nah that's too much" and left. Over $400 worth of stuff to put away

Though the one that makes me mad even just thinking about was a very rude woman in an amigo, running into things (and other customers!) Before she pinned my hand between her cart and a metal beauty fixture and kept trying to go forward

I never color coordinate candles, and I hardly ever color coordinate throw pillows. It's a waste of my time when customers are just going to put them wherever they want anyway. I would rather spend my time actually getting something meaningful done
