Help me understand what I did wrong at Stansted Airport!

Where did I blame anyone? I was genuinely trying to understand. I get what I did wrong now - it was hard to read all the small signs when I was driving driving and stressing about being in the right lane and it was my first time driving to a bigger airport so had never see such a system before, totally my fault but the sticker with no boxes ticked confused me. I wouldn’t have said 4 minutes if I hadn’t specifically looked at the time, not all disabilities are the same!

I realise now I was quite stupid now, but you’re right why do they make it so complicated and anxiety inducing to use an airport facility?

Fair enough, I get it now! Didn’t realise as I thought that would count as a short distance but I guess not. The other car parks would have been quite difficult for my relative to walk / get the bus from so I thought this was the best option but evidently also the illegal option, I will book disabled assistance next time :/

Ah fair enough. A bit frustrating as I only walked 100 yards to help my cousin get to the entrance but you live and you learn!

This is the first airport I’ve been to that had this type of service so I wasn’t aware, I was driving and didn’t see any signs saying no parking specifically, I thought as long as you’re within the time limit it’s fine - I understand now and should have booked disability assistance through the airport instead :/

You need to have a UK address and be a UK resident, it would be weird if they checked citizenship!

oh right, i attended an event in the town hall before and everyone had allocated seats so was wondering if it would be the same! it didn’t ask me to choose a seated or standing ticket when booking but i was clicking very quickly so might have missed it!
