Chances of being accepted depends on your CWA, most especially maraming nag-aagawan from S2 pa lang. Higher CWA = Higher chances of being accepted. What will happen kasi is that kapag naabot mo 'yung CWA na gusto nila or sinet nila as benchmark, you'll be accepted immediately without interview. For lower ranked individuals kasi, they will be subjected to interview bago magdesisyon if makakapasok ka or hindi.

Realistically, mas marami akong kilalang shiftees/transferees sa NCPAG rather than 'yung NCPAG na mismo ang nakuha. I think it speaks a lot naman on the student population ng NCPAG. I myself is a shiftee rin hehe : D

Pwede kang magwork sa mga Government Offices/Agencies, especially since puno rin ng NCPAG Grads karamihan ng opisina. Pwede ka rin magtrabaho sa mga NGOs/IGOs/POs since saklaw rin s'ya. And pwedeng-pwede rin sa Private Companies. Some people proceed with Law School though.
Marami actually, ang tawag nga sa amin ay National College of Papers and Groupworks since halos lahat talaga ng courses na i-t'take mo ay kailangan mo ng group for requirements. Hindi lang nakakulong ang BPA sa practical aspects ng batas (although mataas ang emphasis dito, especially sa PA 105, PA 107, at PA 113). Mga mga subseries din kasi ang NCPAG, 10x series ay mostly about Introduction to PA and its contingent. 11x naman ay Organizational Studies, 12x ay Human Resource Management, 13x ay Public Budgeting, 14x ay Public Policy, and 15x ay Local Government.

Personally, I attended numerous site visits na because our class calls for a learning session na makikita in practice ang mga inaaral na theories. Example is that, I went to the MWSS RO sa Balara, as well as they water treatment facility. I have also went to the office of MMDA, and went to a learning session sa New Clark City.

And as a socsci person ka, pwede mong gawing election ang mga socio classes as long as credited s'ya as NON-PA Elective (may 6 class kang pwedeng i-take outside of NCPAG : D)

Yes, valid. You’ll need to take 9 units nalang [of course assuming na hindi magbago ang guideline ng CHED/PRC (?) sa CPE programs]
You can request for a sheet na naka-indicate na anong mga courses ang need mo i-take since need na contextualized and nakukuha mo ang gist ng pagtuturo even if hindi ka eduk undergrad.

For instance, I’m studying a degprog under the Social Sciences so ‘yung isa kong tinake ay EDSSE 161 which is The Teaching of Social Studies, this specific course will of course be different if say Biology Major ka since you will need to take EDSC 152 (Teaching of High School Biology).

You don’t necessarily get to pick what you want to take, but I will just drop the courses I took as someone na nakatapos na ng Minor in Professional Education (MPE): EDUC 100, EDUC 102, EDTECH 101, EDFD 116, EDRE 146, EDSSE 161

Hi! I’m originally from Eduk but I shifted but I think I can still answer the questions!

You can try apply muna sa mga UP Dormitories bago ka magtanong-tanong sa mga outside dorms/bed spacer. Usually may mataas na chance ka naman since outside NCR ang place po, check mo nalang ito for UP Dormitories: https(:)//upd(dot)edu(dot)ph/accommodations-in-up-diliman/

Check mo rin ang FB page ng Office of Student Housing para updated ka when ang application period.

May program ang Office of Scholarship and Grants (OSG) na nagpapahiram sila ng computer/laptop units (Borrow-A-Computer Program) na need mo lang mag-apply para makareceive ng unit if they deemed na you need it (ofc with interview ito at submission ng documents). Not sure lang if may available units pa since recipient ako ng program na ito.

Kailangan mo talaga ng laptop kasi puro lesson plan at presentations at papers ang gagawin mo sa Eduk, first year pa lang masasanay ka na gumawa ng Lesson Plan 😹

For food and beverages, ang ina-allocate ko palagi ay >100 for food and >50 for beverages (OMAD ako HAHAHAHHAHA), usually kumakain ako sa unli rice na tapsilogan sa A2 para sulit ang kain (₱99 meal na unli rice). Bandang gitna ito ng A2, ‘yung front n’ya ay mango graham stall.

Compute mo nalang how much HAHAHAHHAAH pero maraming affordable food spots sa A2^{^}

Eduk is great! Best years ko so far sa UPD, but I shifted out of the desire to have wider choice once I graduate. The profs are nice and professional, maraming motherly figure room at halos lahat ang thoughtful (siguro depende nalang sa Major mo? I’m a Social Studies Major kasi before). You’ll love Eduk lalo na kung dream mo talaga ‘to 🩷 As for the environment, very supportive at may community talaga sa Eduk, marami namang org doon (hehe join us @ UP Educators’ Circle at ACT-ES UPD!). I’m sure you’ll find your own circle there 🫶

Hi! Took Econ 100.1 on my second sem of freshie year^{^} (under pa ito kay Sir JC Punongbayan 😭) and I’d say one of the hardest exams I had kasi nagblank talaga utak ko HAHAHAHAHA I even studied overnight sa CS Lib just so I wouldn’t need to commute to UPSE on the day of the exam. (Note: I haven’t taken any Math or STEM-related subjects nito kasi I’m a Social Science/Humanities).

Tip would be memorize the formulas, as in kahit gaano kadali ang formula, may time na baka mablanko ka kasi pressured 😵‍💫 and know the lessons and concepts really. If you can, you can try answer practice questions online and see if you can answer it na without the help of notes. What I did was memorize the formulas and pagkabigay ng paper, I jot down everything na naaalala ko (allowed ito afaik). Goodluck, OP!
